Maybe the question is not profitable or irrelevant, or the answer has been given already
for several times. And the only way of moderator to teach you realize that you must read first before asking a question is to delete your post. Hoping you got that already,I had been there too.  Smiley

I inquired in this 2015 thread whether anything came out of the OP's site idea.
The post was deleted. Any idea why?

Just always take in mind that when you posted in this kind of topic/section you there are always moderators that will look every post that has been made in and if they think in their very own discretion that it is not valuable at all then they will delete it right away, they will message you though if they done that.

I agree with your opinion, the point is in posting something, we should read first, so the things we post are not deleted by a moderator.

Thanks gamerfan and SureLockLoans. I hope also a moderator could chime in, as it does seem counterproductive to start a new thread to continue exactly where a previous one left off.

You signed up and made ~60 posts in 3 days.  I can see why they'd delete stuff you post that adds no value.

I did not post anywhere near 60 messages in 3 days. But even if someone were to spend time in thick discussion, so what? And well done on handpicking a post to disparage, ignoring both its context, and my other posts. I can do the same with you. Anyway, I don't see how any of that is relevant to the specific question here.

I'm interested in exactly the same thing, whether it's the OP's site or another site with such features. Being an old thread doesn't make it less pertinent.
Wouldn't it make more sense to concentrate tightly related discussions in the same thread, instead of creating a new one?

Before posting there was indeed a message alerting it's an old thread, but it was not disallowed. So I do wonder what the specific reason is.

I'm with you bro. It is very true it's better to concentrate the same matter in a single thread, instead of opening one or two about the same stuff. Even if the OP of that thread was pretty old, the matter is still relevant today.

Anyway, if a mod deleted your post, you better open a new thread upon the same matter. That's not a big problem, btw...

Necroing a thread isn't allowed unless it adds to the discussion you could of just messaged him privately instead of bumping the thread it just adds unnecessary discussion
