6gb?? LOL...these asics can even compete or still useful until the next 2 generations of GPU after nvidia 3xxx series and amd 6xxx series, and they put 6gb only? fucking cheap skates manufactures with expensive prices..

so asics now don't have a significant increase in speed/MHs or efficiency like x3 or x4 hashrate over the previous gen...rather 20% more hash + 2gb ram? LOL what a joke  Grin
Is the 6gig a problem? I don't think so, many think that every graphics card they own must have more than 4gb VRAM to mine Ethereum but they are wrong, a single card with 8gb VRAM can make 4gb VRAM cards works very well , the 8gb card must be in the first PCIE slot and the miner will make use of the first card memory only

year 2023 DAG will be 6gb, gpus can be 1:1 compared to 1:2 in performance and efficiency vs ETH asic (year 2020 model).

it means you can still use ETH asic (year 2020 model) if it has 8gb. but they still used 6gb so they can sell more (year 2023) with 8gb because 6gb are useless by then.

what is an extra 2gb? ..it is nothing in overall manufacturing expense, people can pay the extra 100$ or less? for assurance that in year 2023 that asic can still be used.

For example if you have 5 RX470 with 4gb VRAM you only need to get a RX470 with 8gb VRAM and mix with the 4gb cards, just make sure the highest VRAM card is inserted in the first slot on your motherboard, the first card memory is all the miner needs, I've done this and it works, so if innosilicon A10 Pro+ have only 6gb VRAM for all the 500mh to 720mh it still makes Sense

The amount of money that will fetch you the most powerful asic miner in the world today will fetch you better hash rate per second if you spend it on graphic cards, if you can't get 500MH out if a asic miner you can get 200MHS more if you put the money into GPUS

Since I recently bought a series of A10 , I have to mention that the cards can not beat the simplicity of Asic and the lower power consumption plays great role in the high cost energy countries.
Of course from the other side the resale value of cards is something important.

ASICs are a ruination for mining.

But tempting to use for short term profits.

They kill coin price time and time again.
Manufacturers can simply flood the market with asics.
They had done so more than once with more than one coin.

BTC begs to differ.

Separate graphics cards have high advantages over a single asic miner, if the asic miner gets a problem or fault you will have to find a qualified personal to fix it for you but with graphic cards you can remove the bad seed easily and there are also ways to fix dead gpu yourself, I bring my amd hd6950 back to life twice myself in 2016

The current eth hash rate is at about 290th

 https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate

that is just under the all-time high of 294.9th

Buying a unit with only 6gb that can only mine eth as etc slightly fucked with its algo, means it (a10) bricks if mining goes on and passes 6gb like it did 4gb.

Buying 8gb mining cards don't brick as fast since 8gb takes longer to pass then 6gb. They can be resold

So buying an eth asic miner is not a great choice.  Basically you can not do anything with it it has zero flexibility and it does not blow away gpu cards.

if my 3 card 3080 gpu rig does 275mh and pulls 720 watts almost silently  it  cost me under 2600 to build it.

do I really need a 500mh asic pulling 950 watts loudly?

cost is 4388 if you can get one  add shipping and trump tax or vat. well over 5000 more like 5500
no longer 3 year warranty no resale like a gpu resale
500 x 3 = 15 dollars a day or 292 days with free power to break even.

so I can build 2 three card rigs for 5200
and mine 550mh at 1500 watts

vs 1 asic rig at 5500
and mine 500 mh at 920 watts

3 year warranty vs   6 month bs warranty

Exactly. and soon when rtx3000 series price gets normal you will get more cheaper and guaranteed.

I want to be clear i was not advocating buying asics...was simply stating that it may be that the nearly 50% higher power usage may explain how they are getting 720mhs at 1300W vs 500mhs as 900w.

I wouldnt recommend asics like this to anyone.

Good people please dont buy ASICs for ETH it is killing it dont you know? you can buy GPUs instead for same money and for nearly same speed. I wouldnt support these scum manufacturung. You give your money to kill your own future. 8000$+ you can make real good people friendly rigs.
What are you talking about? If Asics can do any damages to Ethereum the team would have change it's algorithm to knock out asic miners just like what Monero did with cryptonight algorithm before switching finally to RandomX, Asics aren't a threat to Ethereum and other Ethash Algorithm coins
it is damaging small miners like i am. profit not big enough because of the high hashrate difficulty increase. in every pool i calculate hashrate to workers. result is like for 1 worker 300mhs. it cant be like that. 300mhs per worker. not all miners has that speed. it means many asics are mining.
How about those with 50 to 100s graphic card mining Ethereum? I have a friend that has 30 gtx1660 super currently, that's 900MH mate, asic miners aren't to be blamed here, if you can get more than 5 graphic cards you won't be saying what you are saying right now, it's left for Ethereum team to block asics if they want but now it's too late for that since they are going proof of staking slowly
ofcourse some people has 50rigs, i calculated different pools different coins. it average my friend. average with no asic pools it 5 cards per worker. but ethereum pool its 10 cards per worker even more im not sure because precise calculation impossible.so shortly you need minimum 10cards for eth mining to earn some money.i always calculate the average.
i dont blame asics i blame greedy people are thinking only themselves. You think people has 1 or 2 Asics? You dont know how many innosilicon other manufactures produced this asics and mining in china, and think from which money they build this new asics ofcourse from people who bought it. the money you gave them. thats why im saying much more you buy asics so much people loose.you are giving your money to support them. 8000$ price they dont care you buy it or not because they allready mining with them for long time. i wish again 2018-2019 happens.

The innosilicon A10 Pro+ with 720mh is real, I don't know why it's not available on the website though but it's available for sale on Amazon, the brand name is DragonX innosilicon with 1300w power draw, there is also reviews available from verified purchase users, it's presently available for sale on Amazon at 8000$+
I checked this out on amazon it's 8286$ or so, that's way too much for 720mh/s, I can use that money on 32 pieces of gtx1660 super @250$ - 300$ per card and get 900-990 MH per second, the power draw for all the gtx1660 will be 2240 Watts, isn't that cool?
and also you can sell them with good price at anytime.

I note that the 500mh unit on innosilicon shows 920w .. so maybe at 1300W consumption it can OC to 720mhs.

The miners.eu seems to be legit company ... ill do more checking but isnt just faceless / no address. company.  Now that can be faked but it doesnt appear to be at first glance.  So i wonder if they are just setting them to higher power usage like has been done with Antminer asics with both new FW and tunings.  But yeah you would think innosilicon would be showing it if it is real.

Mystery deepens.

Maybe they finally find a way to overclock without having bad impact on the miner itself? Innosilicon A10 Pro with 720mhs out of the box isn't recognized by the maker so yes it's normal to be suspicious, I have nothing else to think of than a overclocked 500mhs A10 Pro to 720mhs

I don't know where miners.eu get this version of innosilicon A10 Pro+, the only one I recognized is the 500MH Pro+ with same 6gb Memory, the fact is I can't trust this since it's not even on innosilicon official website, if truly innosilicon company made a A10 Pro+ with 720MH miner it will be on their website as the top A10 Pro

Hi everyone, did someone get any Informations about an upcoming innosilicon A10 Pro+ with 720 Mh?
Several stores listed it but i dont see any hints.
Best regards
Where did you see a A10 Pro+ Eth miner that delivers 720MH/s ? I'm not sure it's real, can you provide any link? On innosilicon website there is no such Ethereum miner with 720MH/s, you can only see the 500MH/s miners, be careful as scammers might try to fool you, stick with official website

None of the Chinese resellers has the Innosilicon A10 PRO+ in stock and they only accept preorders. They expect the delivery date to be min to end of Jan. The same happens with asicminervalue suppliers. The expected selling price varies.

If it was official, it would have probably been sold by Innosilicon directly as well as announced by them. When you see new gear (better gear) popping up at resellers but no news from manufacturer, consider it as 99% scam.

They did move it to correct spot.

You could go to innosilicon website and ask them.

Also voskcoin has a thread here that talks about it.
