Mass adoption is not an easy feat
As A. Antonopoulos said ... "It took 400 years for the adoption of gold certificates instead of gold bars and about 50 years for credit cards to be a house whole name. Just give it time. It will get there" (paraphrasing from memory)

If you meant accessibility, bitcoin is fairly available for most countries now as far as I know, probably besides a few countries that has bitcoin banned.

Anyway, bitcoin will be more available for the masses with time. Assuming that demand slowly and surely increases with time and assuming that regulations concerning bitcoin and cryptocurrencies gets clearer, new bitcoin businesses should open worldwide. If bitcoin gets big enough, expect bitcoin to be available pretty much even in your local foreign exchanges.

I think you should be more specific in what way available, as a means of payment or just more available for trading?

It all depends on the country you live in, but Bitcoin knows no boundaries so you can trade or buy something with Bitcoin even if such service is not available in your country. Adaptation goes its course, but nothing can happen overnight, and 10 years is too short time that Bitcoin achieve what you imagine. We can assume that the situation will be much better in 5-10 years than it is today, especially in terms of payments with Bitcoin.

Some countries are very advanced when it comes to regulation of cryptocurrency in positive way, others do just the opposite and they try in every possible way to stop it.
