This doesn't make any sense. There is no need to wait for august 1st to install and run anything. In fact, august 1st is probably a horrible time to do that since BIP 91 activates tomorrow. To best avoid seeing blockchain reorgs, you should build and run the segsignal patch of Bitcoin Core. The code that you should build is available here: https://github.com/segsignal/bitcoin
