Try electrum it's user friendly.

Ps: Blockchain.info uses a different kind of wallet format which is called "JSON"
You can read more about it here.
https://blockchain.info/wallet/wallet-format

You can import that JSON wallet to multibit or you can export private keys.

So I just got back into bitcoins, and everything is confusing.  I installed bitcoin qt, but it closes in the middle of updating the block.  I installed armory, but it says i am always "offline"  Multibit is the last option, but it doesn't encrypt wallets.

Also, I am confused about blockchain.info's wallet.  Why does it send to my email a "back up" that is not wallet.dat?  Also, if i were to back it up in another client, do i still need my blockchain.info's pw?

Thanks a bunch.
