Hello, I formerly had an Instawallet and have the address and other details, dating back to 2011.

I tried sending a pm, but was told you weren't able to accept from me.

Please respond and let me know additional details regarding recovery.
Unfortunately people who ask for help here never come back to confirm or update us if they were helped. So right now, it's just guess work. Try your luck by contacting him through other alternative means.

I think he is not ready paying old customers
What makes you "think" that ?
Customers ? Please bear in mind that this was an experimental no-login, no-fee wallet, not a paying service.
Users are welcome to reach out if they can prove they were actual user by providing all the details in their posession.
I do not respond to unsubstantiated claim because they are too easily made up and I don't have time for that anymore after 7+ years.

@yogasyogas

Was your situation ever resolved or addressed by @Boussac?

I just found myself in a similar situation and registered to this forum in hopes of recovering my btc - I will be posting a thread after replying to yours!

Where does your issue stand at this point?

Thanks

I didn't thought that you don't have time for that anymore after more than 7 years, this is why i thought you are not ready anymore.
However, users who commented above have been waiting for this sentence from you:

None can blame you, and i find it strange how you decided to reply to my comment while you ignored all other messages.

I woke up today finding that user Boussac gave me 3 merits for my first post in this thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53714206
But he keeps silent and say nothing about the refund claims according to his recent post history.
I think he is not ready paying old customers, but i still think it's not good to ignore those users in this way, they are victims somehow and he may say something.

I am having the same issue here. I have the URL and transaction list from my wallet to proof what i sent, when i sent and where i sent. I can't though contact him anyway yet :/.
Read the above post, it will enlighten you that its impossible for you to get your funds back due to the 90-day claiming period of instawallet. Quoting the post below.

I'm not sure he's still going to process your issue after 5+ years.

Still no replay from Boussac !?

I watchlisted this thread to see if old instawallet users will get refund after many years which seems far to be true. I am wondering if we can blame Boussac as he was the project representative, or to blame those old users about how they trusted the project and invest in it. The project wasn't declared as a scam and Boussac was able to refund the investors, and if because of technichal issue, this wouldn't be a reason to Boussac not refunding users who wasn't updated about the updates in the project .

The 90 days deadline was set mostly arbitrarily so they could pocket their users' unclaimed bitcoins. It's very likely that it's too late, but your only hope is in contacting a lawyer based in France, or someone familiar with French laws. But if it's a paltry amount, like 1 BTC, I wouldn't even bother.

I skimmed through their claiming ann thread and they were pretty keen about keeping their 90-day claiming period which has been long over. They refused users who came to them just months after the deadline. I don't think you're gonna be able to get them to process your refund willingly as its been years. The user from 2018 which has a similar case to yours also didn't receive a reply when TryNinja gave them a heads up about it.

Here's what they said to one of those ppl(https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3821122)

So I sent a few btc to friends and family early in Instawallet days to spread the word, they are now looking for those coins.

What do we need to do to recover them?

thanks davout
I'm afraid it's too late to file a claim, the claims submission was possible for three months with a deadline in July.
There was a detailed explanation of the whys and hows of the claims process (and more specifically why there had to be a deadline) posted in this thread, it might be a little hard to find buried in the 40 pages of this thread.

Kind regards
David

I'm not sure If you have reached out to an actual lawyer or not when you said "all lawyer say that" but If that's true and they said that, you have a much better chance with that method.

After five years, who to blame ? And how old instawallet users woke up after five years ? If you spent few bucks before five years to fulfill your instawallet then forget about it,now you would a lot of money to get the same amount .
If Boussac doesn't hold old funds, then i doubt he can pay everybody even he wants to . From other side, he would also verify the real old users before to pay anything .

Anyway, we still need his opinion about this as he didn't set a limit period to payback users and there is no reason for him to ignore several claims. TryNinja affirmed that he didn't get any response from Boussac after a long period from sending him PMs about the situation.

He is responsible for our old bitcoins even if he Has information on site he is not. All lawyer say that. In the past it was only secret link with btc so he cant verify anybody by id.

He's offline since 21th Jan. Have you checked this thread[1]? I'm not sure he's still going to process your issue after 5+ years. I'm pretty sure you already knew about this thread[2] so don't expect much.
