Institutional capital is already here, most of the manipulations we experience are done by those “institutional investors” that are hardly interested in blockchain as in “technology of the future”. Most of those whales are manipulating people via media to create extra FUD and panic selling. What I suggest is to get educated in trading and blockchain cryptotechnology to know how to evaluate the investment possibilities yourself.

there are no "institutional" investors coming and their coming is not something that you should even be excited about. they can also bring more manipulation to the market. for example altcoins that are smaller can be pumped and dumped more as they are whales with experience coming to make money from trading shitcoins not to waste their time waiting for the growth in long term.

ps. your link doesn't go anywhere!

Ah, thats cheering me up.  Roll Eyes
I never understood the concept of institutional investors because I never seen anyone of them yet or experienced any of them yet. However I always considered or more or less imagined that they are whales club and nothing else. There might be the very rich crypto people who are coming to form an institute and trying their luck hard to manipulate the stuff around the crypto world which is very easy by the way. I guess with the time these kind of investors will disappear if people get smart enough not to believe on anything like that.

I believe it's already a good entry right now, they make it slowly entering the market because any big announcement could cause
a FOMO. There are a lot of good news in the market and yet bitcoin still could not continue to rise, waiting now until the bear will be gone and we will enjoy the bull run once again before the year end.

This is the original article: https://www.ibtimes.com/institutional-crypto-coming-dont-be-fooled-bear-market-2716057

Basically, its just the COO of a startup cryptocurrency trading platform blathering on about how bullish he is about the market. This is typical of 99% of C-level startup people in this space.

there are no "institutional" investors coming and their coming is not something that you should even be excited about. they can also bring more manipulation to the market. for example altcoins that are smaller can be pumped and dumped more as they are whales with experience coming to make money from trading shitcoins not to waste their time waiting for the growth in long term.

I think they've been here for a while, and more traditional firms will be dipping their toes in the next few years. There's definitely a difference between investment funds (hedge funds, pension funds) and institutional trading desks. I think funds entering the market has an overall bullish effect. It's the trading desks with their HFT algorithms that are a drawback.......the market moves less organically and is more prone to harsh whipsaws and stop runs.

it seems like yesterday there were a lot of investors who were panicking with the bear market, because they were not sure that the market could not return. but with a short time, surely the market will return to normal and continue to rise in the price of the coin in it

"Real world" investors also came one year ago and it wasn't nice in the end, was it? Smiley

It's easy to look at the depressed valuations of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies out there and conclude that the bubble has burst. Institutional Crypto is coming, don’t be fooled by the bear market.
