have seen this kind of projects ,not based on dice , but the PVP model in general
hate to disappoint you , but it won't be a hit
I don't know your coding skills but the main drawbacks of such a project :
1. high average stake time- you have to find an opponent , it takes time and on some sites I saw people praying for anyone at all to accept their bet , after a couple of days of waiting
2. provably fair implementation , difficult to prove that your opponent is not a house bot with advantage
3. low total market for this sort of games , people are used to playing vs a casino with a 1% house edge
so there won't be a que to join the game ,I'm afraid
and similar project never took off , name a single PVP casino that is popular , I dare you
all in all , a PVP game or two  on a casino can work , a 100% PVP based casino , most likely won't

This is what I asked above, the major difficulty of PVP and not just for dice, is to gain a LOT of players. Even for mobile apps when doing PvP for popular ones,,, you can wait even 1 or 2 minutes and that is the wait that is not worth for a lot people including me. Gamblers I believe have an even lower waiting willingness.

So the key is to code in where you can put the bet and go offline and leave it in some sort of smart contract, and a way to encourage people to join because you needs 100 people immediately for every game otherwise it does not work.

unfortunately , this problem has not been solved
on chain games have their own limitations vs offchain games
but again , the main problem of PVP is the waiting time between the bets
why wait when you can gamble away 2-3 bets per second on provably fair , established casinos like Bitvest or Stake?
you got to offer something really special for people to join and stay on the site , otherwise it is going to be yet another stillborn project

Sad truth that must be face while trying to established this type of business, in real world gamblers will continue supporting existing gamehouse who offers quick and easy game time, instead of trying new ideas like this they will proceed and stay where they already enjoying, if there's changes in  the way gamblers need to partake it's must be something that they can't resist to support regularly.

I have seen a different version of this game, but it is just like people putting money into a pot and then they bet on a random outcome expressed as a horse race. This is offline! The problem as pointed out is to find the people,,, and you have to be online to wait for the person to accept? Or you can make it like a smart contract and place your bet and leave it for people to find?

Looks like a very interesting project & you have a  nice concept by this concept your project can touch the success. I have some suggestion for you don't set the minimum deposit & withdraw amount high & try to make a faucet or give one time reward Lips sealed

Faucet wont be good for pvp dice game as it can be abused by creating multiple accounts to play against each other alt accounts then collect it in an account to withdraw, so one time bonus to try the game is enough. Regarding minimum deposit and withdrawal, I think using the standard that is used by most other sites is good enough. The more important thing is about the withdrawal fee which should not be too high.

The concept sounds good but it is risky as making player VS player is not true but you need for running your website and implementing the dice you should also have a gambling licence that was like Half the money of Casino. If you are planning to go without getting a licence then I will advise adding a faucet so you can show that you are not opening with Completly a gambling site.

This game is very interesting. The success of this site will depend on how many his live players will be online always for the game. It is easy to lose interest if it will take forever to have a match. The first few months of the launch will be crucial.

Well you could also add up the easiest game to play Rock-Paper-Scissors since it would be a PvP I think it is much more suitable for your site.
And how about cards you would let the 2 gamblers choose a random card and the one with the highest number win.

Those can be expansion games once he has this game up and running. I think Paper-Rock-Scissors are the best for PVP like they are already some tournaments holding this game.

Except from your discord server, do you have specific website for your pvp dice? Is it the one that's indicated on the title as btcdice.games? I've looked onto that website but there's nothing to be found.

Please join, I'll be happy to answer any questions Smiley
I know that you can answer most of the questions there but everyone has been confidently asking you in here so I think you have to answer it directly and no need to go into your discord channel, just my 1 satoshi.

Concept is interesting but please do not forget about the provably fair parts of it. If you do not deal with the trust issues on day one then it will be harder to add that later on which means your website will always be questioned about the fairness forever. That is why I am saying do it on day one so you will never face those criticisms.

Plus, there are some pvp games like hi/lo where people can bet on cards and whoever draws a bigger card will win, there are pvp games like coin toss and many more stuff, if you add these games as soon as possible instead of just being a dice pvp game thae you will get bigger too since the more games you have the more chance you have to make money as well.

Any ETA when the beta stage will be released? You said in 4-7 days, and now it is the 5th day since you created this topic but you are inactive for 3 days now. Hope everything is OK as planned.
Since this topic is created to check interest, I suggest you not to rely on the posts you read in this topic as not all of us are real gambler who want to spend our money on gambling.
Still have 2 days left for the beta and it would be better if he would able to launch the game on the said date but there might be some delays depending if there are
upgrades or design changes on the site.We would able to see on few more days if he do able to keep his words.

May be some delays, had to work on a side project that messed up..

Check the first post, provably is now implemented.

Few things like payments to do, the 2 days is a bit optimistic, I'd say 5 days realistically for a beta release with fake currency, 2 weeks for actual release with real money.

Please be patient, it will be worth the wait, and as for commission %, me and my partner have not decided yet.

an interesting concept , hope the site takes off
as for ideas , you should think of a promotion to celebrate the opening , some give away or bonus codes
this will allow you to get some initial player base
also advertising the site on crypto related networks is a good idea
oh and make sure your affiliate is working properly as the vast majority of players will come through other's affiliate links

I can't judge your website based on 2 screenshots only.Let's see how it looks when it's fully launched.
The pvp concept isn't new and there are more and more pvp gambling websites being launched everyday.
You will have to find a way to stand out from the crowd.

Interesting concept. I hope the finish product can assure players that they really are playing against a live person and not just a bot. If you guys can come up with a poker table look with house/dealer other player and the player on the screen, that would be awesome. I think other site will start scrambling to get ahead before your planned launch.

What you say is true. But who knows, even non gamblers might want to try his site once up and running. Even low rollers can give life to a new dice site. At least start the ball rolling. OP, how far are you in launching this site to the public? I hope the site will be interesting as much as you can create it.

Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
I am currently coding a dicing website where you are able to play against other players.

This is the idea:

You post your desired bet
A player calls your bet
The site will roll 2x 6-sided dice
The player with the highest roll out of 12 wins the money

Now you don't have to play against the house, you can play against your friends, or even a complete stranger!

It is about 4-7 days away from the beta release

https://imgur.com/a/VPan9de
I think that playing dice against others is a pretty cool idea but why 12 rolls decide who wins, rather than the winner of every roll gets the money? What's also important is the percentage of additional fees the website will charge to have profit from it. Some websites charge 5%, but many gamblers consider it too high. And think about KYC and stuff, informing the potential players about it in advance.
Dice against each other reminded me of a game I used to play with my parents. It's a dice game, but combinations give you points and determine the winner. It was very similar to Yatzy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yatzy. It's an engaging game, and I have never seen an online version of it on gambling websites. Just think about it, maybe you'll feel like making it on your website to make it stand out even more  Wink

Wow that is great game. I think gamblers specially gamblers in a middle age like millenials will like that challenges because this is like duel that you can beat other player. It is more exciting because it has more challenge that teenagers always want. So I think it will be a good game.

So you are saying that you are creating a platform for this kins of game? It is quite unique I believe but dont you think it is a little bit hard of getting players that really match on what you place? Because there is so many variance that can be made from players and I think this can't really suits up for all of the players

If you handle it as a regular dice rolls on the backend its the same as playing against the house. seeds used can be public or picked upfront by the user.
legendary
Activity: 3052
Merit: 1188
The idea is great but the seed checking becomes a problem. There have been many tries on making pvp games and the most known I remember was the rock paper scissors and it didn't live that long because the people like to play games against the house since it is easy to check if its provably fair however its not easy to check provably fair of both rolls you have and your opponent has which is why it has been not done so far, if it was viable and can be done many places with dice games on their website would have implemented a pvp version as well.

If you can solve the provably fair option then there is no doubt it would get famous since people do really want to play against each other. Trust is something you have to earn in crypto and if you manage that you will make a ton of money.

Like the idea, will be interesting to know, finally who will be luckier, person who bets or person who accepts bets. Do you plan to accept mydicebot to add your dice in their list? Not only playing dice with their bot but also virtually testing it (virtual better and virtual bet accept).
Well, idea is good but as I see your template from images, it needs absolutely brand new desing, current one looks very simple and in bad colours too. Btw wish you success, just release your beta version with good template to make it even more attractive.

Im sure that there would be some sort of deductions for sites profit.
That is also my question how much would be their fee per game?
And how would we get to fight another gambler?
I couldn't wait to see their beta to try it out I hope that this would really be a good one and not another boring and basic layouts ,
I hope that they could make their graphics more attractive for their site to be more interesting.

Looks interesting.  Guess you'll need lots of gamblers for a peer-to-peer gambling to be successful and profitable. I don't know much about this things though ... they sound fun anyway.

This sounds like an interesting idea, with people playing against each other, how will you make a profit on this idea, will there be a house edge or will you add fees on withdraws instead
As if you where thinking what I was thinking? Wonder what's in for the creator. Am guessing it's in the terms and conditions which the withhold when publicizing there product. Regardless good gaming innovation and concept
They might play it out like Poker cash tables and collect a small percentage rake based off the bets that are made.

This does sound like an interesting idea however it was actually already available on Primedice a few years back ( I think 2015 or so) and they removed it due to lack of interest.

It featured a special section of the site, where you can go against some other player and it was provably fair type of PvP gambling. It was used from time to time as I can remember however I think eventually nobody used it and it was removed.

I think most people rather just gamble again the house edge rather than another player since the probably of winning is the same. And this way you can gamble almost anytime rather than have to go into the chat and wait until another player challenges you.

I think why it wasn't a success is because its not a skill type of game like Chess, its more of a game based on luck and odds and that's why those are usually never popular when PvP.

That is a good question and let's hear what the dev will say on this. Also, as you mentioned, you need an opponent obviously before you can proceed the game. So the waiting time here is the variable because it is a fresh dice site. The site is still in the creation stage so we don't know yet if it will hit in the gambling community. Let's see once he fully launched his site and check how many players he can attract using this pvp-type game.

I for one would be interested in seeing how this plays out because pvp dice play is something I didnt think would be possible. And have always thought of it as a single player game. Undecided
But if it involves another player then it is more like tug-o-war battle to see who gets the flag on their side of the middle bar to be considered the winner.

many dice fans are looking forward to how the beta version will be launched.
All sorts of gambling games specially dice do really always matter with luck and this is a pvp one unlike on other typical dice that you are against the house.

This is also a thing i would like to know on how much he do get from to its players?

A sneak peak or some beta testing would be a good idea for him to get some suggestions on the gambling community.

There's should be a maintenance needs to facilitate the site to work, OP, you also needs to indicate the actual amount that you will be taken from each
bets that will be completed inside your site, the idea is good for another project to work with PVP types of gambling, interest will be there if you will

Interesting. This is like playing poker with others where there is no house edge at all and the house makes money through our participation.

This could become a hit or miss depending on how interesting it proves to be in the long term though I am personally not a big fan of such PVP games myself.

Will definitely check this out though once it is fully ready to go.

i just check the picture above but why the dice can roll 6.37?
i think it the players should choose between the numbers 1 ~ 12 with no decimal.

Yap it is a bit weird, how can 2x 6sided dice rolled decimal numbers even 1. The lowest number should be 2 as there is no zero in a 6sided dice. Probably the coding is not finished yet, so lets see when the beta is ready to try. I wonder, will be there an animation of the rolled dice like what I have seen at pocketdice long time ago?

According to OP words the website will be provably fair so most likely it's going to be as legit as possible at the beginning. It depends on the owners work to keep in legit and trusted over time

Moreover i can't say anything without giving a trial to the site.
Hope this comes as i have expected it will.

Could not clearly view the picture on Imgur it appeared a bit blur. The concept and idea behind your work is quite good but would there be something like users having an account where they can deposit funds in other to play the game and is it all about betting between two people (strangers or not) would it not be right that the platform have some options to offer a kind of bonus to winners

I'm pretty sure I've see this concept on other website but I just don't remember where and if that website is still working. Anyways after a quick search on goggle I can see there are a very few website that have available this type of dice game but none of them are popular and don't have players coming on their website so yours might be the first one to become popular if you take care of promoting it well.

Since it's also provably fair this is a great idea because now friends can also play between themselves and see who's the luckier one.You should also create a feature where multiple players can join a round so that the total prize becomes bigger and every player is taking higher risks. Another suggestion is to add different other games like rock-paper-scissors that people use to play with others since the more games you have available the easier it will be to attract more customers.

Look's good to me I just hope that there would be more games other than dice.
But how could we be sure that it is other gambler not just a bot that we are gambling with?
And how would the site get's profit to be able to maintain the site and keep it secure?

12 rolls would take so long, why not just roll 2 dices at once and player with highest number wins. How much house edge would you implement if ever?
I've played a player vs player dice before but there are multiple players on the dice and the bet was only High and Low,
the winning will only be paid by the amount accumulated during the each round and the payment is on FIFO method,
so when you bet too late even if you win as long as the bet on the losing side, you won't be paid. Cheesy

You misread completely.

2
6 sided dice

It rolls 2 dice for 2 players in about 10 seconds total. This is being looked at to have an option to have a quick duel, which would be instant and no fancy stuff.

Many of you are interested to play pvp dice game but most of you forget to ask about the most important thing, which is about provably fairness. @OP will it be provably fair game? Sorry to ask because you did not mention something related to how you draw the dice. Dont be offended, but based on what was happening to most pvp based games in the past. None of them are able to survive for long time because the lack of active players. One more important thing, how about the house edge or maybe it will be something called as "fee" for each round for your own profit?

Of course provably fair.

This is interesting,so this is  like our traditional cara y cruz that we bet on out friends and toss coin but in your way its on dice.
The concept is just like flip coin on other website but using dice this is interesting.I'll be waiting for your site Smiley

Thanks for your interest, I will add a 'dummy' credit to the website that users will be able to test the concept of the game when first released.

Coindragon.com 30% Cash Back
This is interesting because we're able to play against our family members, workmates or friends. I have tried this kind of game in a fair play site and I would love to check this one. Your site is simple and it's good to know that you have an app for your site.

EDIT: as of 10/06, there are still a few major flaws that need ironing out, please be patient, the site will be running soon Smiley
