Hi harmsey89!

Glad to heard that you are interested in mining Monero! Good choice:)

A couple of friends and I created our own Monero Pool. The sysadmin also supports you if you have any questions about getting started.

The url: www.monero-miners.com redirects to: https://ratchetmining.com/

Hope to welcome you to our Team!

Kind Regards,

my advice may seem trivial but at least it is a starting point!
go to minergate.com
https://minergate.com signup,
download the correct app for your system and run it!
findout what you get for hashrate and then with an actual wallet and miner of your choice try to make a gain of the hashrate.
at least you know what your looking for and basically where to start

Hello,

I'm new to this forum so first off I apologize if I sound completely dumb or lost.

So anyway I have a few computers.

One Linux and One Windows 7

I wanted to mine on both of them but I'm running into troubles...

On the Linux system I set up the Wallet and got the GUI Wallet up and running, using the Wallet I have started mining not that it'll gain anything for me running at like 80 h/s... but on the Windows 7 I wanted to use my Wallet address that I created on the Linux system to mine... It's Dual Core CPU with 6GB Ram and a Radeon 5450 GPU installed. I've been trying to follow tutorials to take advantage of the GPU mining on this computer but can't get it set up to run successfully is there a good tutorial out there?

I don't care if I lose a bit of money as long as I successfully mine something. I'm doing it more for the experience than anything.

Thanks
