It seems there is only one concern on this project, security. Maybe, since it is an open source project, someone who can read codes and have good reputation can review it and check for security issues. That is if there is someone who is willing to do so.

You could try Exodus wallet (Desktop wallet) : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-exodus-wallet-multi-currency-built-in-exchange-1766679
It's not fully open source but hey it gives you the best security with more improvements coming in the future. Give it a shot if you're aware.

I want to know who is interested in a open source multi coin wallet ?
free for use without a ICO fully opensource..
will work on  :
Windows|linux|mac|android|ios
main coins:
btc|eth|ltc|nmc|xmr|dash
I'm interested in it but looks like the multi-coin wallet still on the web wallet form.

I quite agree if windows are having more priority.

For the kind of coins, You should have seen on the Top 20 coins on the coin marketcap which it is having a lot of the demand according to his capitalization result.

You're actually describing Coinomi: https://coinomi.com/

It's 100% free and it's available for Android but also for Windows, Linux and Mac and supports 60 blockchains already with many more coming soon.

Multicoin wallet is thing who many are looking for. Many people just don't want to download wallet for every coin that they have. Keeping coins on exchange isn't a safest option. There are few online multi coin wallets like Bit.ac or Holytransaction.com, but it's more like exchanges.
As far as I know, only multicoin wallet which gives your private keys is Coinomi.
If your wallet will give access to our private keys, then it will be a good option.

Multicurrency wallet is convenient.
But how are you going to ensure security?

i am using coinomi for some altcoins to exchange and that was very helpful for me... I think 20more altcoins but only four or five coins can use to exchange for all coins for the rest you have exchange in traders..

Depends on how secure it would be. Also if it would download full blockchains or work like lightweight wallets, like multibit. And of course how many coins it would support.

It would have to be a lightweight wallet for sure.

Its a pain downloading 1 blockchain from a few years old already, let alone a dozen.

i give my vote with number one because i think we don't have much option for multi coin wallet, but i know some wallet like coinomi and uberpay, and bit.ac but still there is not many coins in their list. if you can add until top 50 in coinmarketcap.com then i think your multi coin wallet is really good and especially if you can make update frequently like others wallet.
