What about having it either as a bi-annual event, or a quarterly event?
Jan 3rd IS a great date, but maybe it's a little far off? I'd love to do this once a quarter if we could pull it off and make something happen for the day.

It's a nice idea. On the day, we need meet ups in different parts of the world and hand out flyers to promote bitcoin. How about fly a helium ballon with a bitcoin logo to the top of the atmosphere?

I really like this idea to try Thunderclap. Thank you! The platform looks interesting and it can be used with small goals and for free at first.

You should make some videos/articles about "what is bitcoin?" and " why bitcoin is better then FIAT money?".3.) From there I'd like to hear your thoughts/conjecture on what effects this event might have on Bitcoin (both the good and the bad), how we might measure success, etc.

I'd like to get your opinion on an activist idea/effort for Bitcoin. The idea is to have an International Day for Bitcoin where we ask everyone in the world to use Bitcoin for a day for all their financial transactions.
