Longtime lurker, newbie postere @ Bitcointalk.
I was a seti@home guy (since 99) and jumped in on the BTC craze earlier this year.
Current mining setups include:
2x 6950's
8x 5830's
2x 6870's
I do alot of web database work, so I was able to drop the cards in to pre-existing 2600k testbed servers I have that sit idle quite a bit without much additional overhead.
I was able to drop in to Meze Grill last time I was in NYC and spend some bitcoins which was pretty cool
I'm in BTC mining mostly becuase it gives me a hobby to do while killing some downtime... I seem to keep aquiring new cards even though the price keeps going down haha. I started dabbling a week or two ago in litecoins but the mining client seems to make my rig's a bit unstable over long periods of time.
Currently mining over at Slush's pool.
