CDO.Finance is the first Yield Farming project on the Binance Smart Chain that offers dynamic risk exposure


CDO.Finance is a newcomer in the burgeoning DeFi space, and represents our efforts to build upon existing money legos of lending markets and yield farming to create risk-adjusted derivative products.

With CDO.Finance, users are now able to yield farm with either reduced risk or leveraged yield, thus opening the door for risk-averse or capital-constrained investors to also participate in DeFi yield farming.

Through the creation of financial products that caters to differing risk profiles and capital constraints, We aspire to push decentralised finance forward towards broader adoption and usage.

What are CDOs?
CDOs stand for Collateralised Debt Obligations, and stands for our DeFi counterpart to the ones found in traditional finance.

CDOs work by packaging a pool of cash-flow generating assets and classifying users to different tranches according to their risk profile. Through a waterfall payout system, users are subsequently rewarded in a sequential manner with their yield at the end of every epoch. Details of our system will be laid out in greater detail in our next posts and documentation page.

Why did we build CDO.Finance on Binance Smart Chain?
Utilising Binance Smart Chain(BSC) offers a gas-efficient way to conduct transactions and yield farming activities. Ethereum transactions are costly and greatly taxes the yield of farmers. BSC levels the playing field and allows normal people to farm yield without requiring massive capital to make it worth it.
Lack of on-chain protocol to adjust risk and leverage yield for BSC users.

With our namesake Collateralised Debt Obligations derivatives, users can now obtain leveraged yield farming or risk protection in their yield farming assets.

CDO.Finance will officially launch on the 4th of April 2021 at 00:00 GMT+8. Token rewards will begin at block 6251000
