LOL I did't notice that until you mentioned it!  Well it is early for Halloween anyway, but I always love zombies.

Ad maiora!
Welcome aboard Johann, there's plenty good reading in these boards, surprised you've held off for so long...

The types of products you are working on are what is really going to power btc adoption. True real use cases that we've all been waiting for.
I'm eager to hear more...

Pleased to join the Bitcoin Forum and e-meet all of you :-)

As fellowtraveler announced on August 2 (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1073032)
we are starting up a company that is building a decentralized, peer-to-peer smart contracting platform for secure, private financial and legal transactions.

We're using the insights gained from fellowtraveler's work on the OT (Open Transactions) proof-of-concept prototype
to build a highly secure, scalable, industrial-strength commercial version.

We're laser-focused on building our company and its products, so there's little time for "socializing".
But feel free to shoot us questions—we do occasionally answer ;-)

I notice some forum references to Laissez Faire City (LFC) and Sonny Vleisides. For the record:

1.   LFC was started by Sonny's father in the mid-nineties. In 2002, LFC investors were concerned about the way LFC was being operated, and hired me as an outside auditor to investigate. My audit uncovered fraud and embezzlement. Despite threats from Sonny's father and his associates, I published the audit report, and personally saw to it that the fraudulent operation was permanently shut down. I did much of the work without payment as a service to defrauded investors. The audit report is archived at http://web.archive.org/web/20030608124331/http://www.lfcfa.com/financials/index.html

2.   My name and address were used, without my authorization, as the contact info for domains such as mailvault.com. I've never owned any of those domains. The only LFC-related domain I owned is lfcfa.com which I created for the purpose of the audit, and still own to preserve the historical record.

3.   I don't know much about the 2007 mail fraud case against Sonny, beyond what can be gleaned from internet searches.

4.   I am not connected to Sonny or Butterfly Labs.

Thanks, kjj. We're always interested in good ideas, so shoot us an email: [email protected] and/or [email protected] (Fellow Traveler).

The past few months have been busy. We hired our first additional software engineer in November (a truly brilliant man), and are hard at work building our commercial platform. We're now raising our seed funding and will soon be hiring additional team members. We're very excited about the products we're building, and can't wait to show off the first ones later this year.

Welcome aboard.  Been meaning to talk to you guys about a couple of things.  Hopefully you have already thought of all of my ideas, and are working on them.
