Since this topic also state about 2FA, I have created a thread on how to add 2FA in your account if you still don't know how it works. This thread might be handy to those who are so lazy that he/she won't use search feature or to search in google. This thread is how to setup 2FA by using google authenticator but you can use other authenticator like Authy.

Welcome! Your idea of getting aquainted with the forum rules, guidelines and general mode of interaction would surely put you in a good position to benefit from the information available here which sine members miss out in due to lack of interest or desire to read.

Those threads you highlighted are very useful for beginners. And there are so many others it's almost impossible to get to them all. This is a digital museum.

Hello friend
I Registered to the forum precisely in September and ever since I just took it as a mandate to survey the forum and build myself up in cryptocurrency and in the forum as well.
I am actually new to cryptocurrency and have started little in my investment I have some altcoin in my wallet already.
And this forum has really been helpful to me in surfing the cryptocurrency world.
I have been able to be more safer here with so much helpful thread about scam in cryptocurrency
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guidehow-to-avoid-scam-3329803
I have understood some safety and security measures on how to protect your account and it really been helpful not only here but in other aspects of my life.

The importance of precautionary steps with the aid of 2fa google authenticator has really been helpful to me and I know would be very helpful to others as well.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2fa-important-precautions-with-google-authenticator-3178131
I have also been polished on topics like mining, trading and investment also have picked up great knowledge from some good book I got from a thread here and i recommend to other if they haven't read it
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-of-serious-introductions-to-bitcoin-and-the-blockchain-3108929

Also it's would be unfair of me to gain so much and not contribute back positively to the forum that's why it was necessary to understand the forum. Most newcomers don't go through the rules and regulations well we can do it now and also checked out frequently asked questions to avoid repeating the same issues https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-list-of-official-bitcointalkorg-rules-guidelines-faq-703657

Understanding the ranking system wasn't an herculean task. So many thread about how to rank and merit can just be settled by a good look into this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-new-rank-requirements-2818350

Really hoping for a more productive stay here in this forum
