Investing in the IEO doesn't make any divergence than investing in the IEO and following the crowd always lead to adverse circumstances. My main concern is not about the good or bad exchange if there is no real product by the project management. Altcoins are not going to make me rich, so my preference will be on the best performing side of the market.
It's not so important cuz. If the project is cool enough i will invest in ico or ieo period. If i dont know much more about project, i will choose ieo which launch honest exchanges. If it not trustable exchange and i dont know about much things about project, i will not invest!

for me IEO and ICO is just a token sales mechanism, the more important is how the Project is done and developed.

Invest in good projects regardless they are running an ICO or IEO. There are many promising projects doing ICOs and many shitty projects running IEOs in low tier exchanges. The quality of the project itself is the most important factor to decide whether we invest in this project or avoid it.

It's obviously true that not all new IEO oriented project can afford to run that IEO on a top exchange due to the hefty requirements but I think everyone should pay more attention to the project itself rather than focus on the exchange hosting the IEO.

I am not concerned if the project uses IEO or ICO, but the most important is whether the project is good or not, so if I think the project is good and is suitable for investment, then I will definitely invest in the project even if the project uses ICO, but if the project uses IEO then I still invest in the project even though if the project uses a not good exchange, so I think the most important thing for me is the project that I want to invest.
I prefer to participate in IEO in the exchanges, but the exchange should be popular exchange and have reputations like binance, bittrex, and poloniex. If the IEO is on the small exchanges which are not good, then I don't want to participate because it's too risky, we don't know what will happen later. Besides that, I heard that some IEO could not get their success in the small exchanges because that is not working to reach more investor in their project. But the decision is up to you.

If you want to invest in a gift project be it ICO or IEO, make sure that they are legitimate projects. who have a road map with a transparent team, but if you choose the IEO I think you better choose the IEO that has been listed on a large exchange like BINANCE. because many IEO projects succeed there

So, I think that I would rather participate in a project that has a real use case even if it is done through ICO than to participate in IEO projects on exchange that are not reliable, because if you participate in exchanges that are not reliable, there is a chance that the project itself is not going to be a good one, or the exchange will end up scamming you on your tokens. So we should not look at the IEO but the project, even if a project is registered as IEO on a reliable exchange, there is still need to do thorough research before making any investment in it.

Small exchangers only follow the IEO trend. Big investors will certainly choose the IEO held by a large exchanger because it promises a good project and also a large transaction value. IEO is suppose to be an improved form of ICO, ICO do a lot of shady deals, can even conceal fund. Recently Bitbond conducted an STO through public crowdfunding, till date, they are yet to accurately release the total amount raised. Some ICO who collected money since last year are yet to get listed on exchanges blaming the bad market for their failure.

ICO is not recommended anymore because of the length of time they held their crowdfunding and listed their coin in exchange, sometimes it takes a year like what happened to Adab, IEO is preferable because it is fast but I still prefer it even if it is held in a small exchange as long as they can make a good promotion, it will become a successful project.

I would choose to invest on an IEO over an ICO on any given time of the day, unless its a super good project with a big guy with a lot of influence that is conducting an ICO. IEO provides liquidity to its investors but is quite exclusive and always have risks. A new offering which is an evolved IEO are somehow mitigating those issues and provides a lottery-based system for you to win. Regardless, everything has a risk and we just need to play it smart.

The choices you have brought up has some circumstances, mostly will invest to an IEO now because they've just heard that it will generate profit and the ICO days are now over. So despite on how good the ICO would be, many will start to avoid investing on it because of that belief for this year. The ICO has been taken over by IEOs and investors wouldn't even have a second thought on where they will invest. As long as that is an IEO and there's an exchange to dump it, they'll invest.
Investing in IEO seems to be an easy and fast profits. Investors are not anymore patiently waiting for the product but they want a profit instantly. If you don't care with the project, IEO is good to be an investment yet if you want a product there are still ICO that are working with that. The tendency of other IEO which has investors that only search for an instant gains will easily decline once they knew that they have profit at all.
It doesn't really matter. If a good project using a good exchange for it's IEO then I think it will make it much more legit then just an ICO. It will be backed by an exchange so trading can happen immediately.

I think everything depends on the project. But now almost all projects use the IEO scheme for the sale of tokens because ICO has begun to be unpopular. Well there are many criteria that need to be fulfilled in order for me to invest in a new project. These criteria varied depending on the mode of launching the project.
If it's an IEO then I would surely consider the reputation of the exchange, although it wouldn't matter much if the project is truly worth it.

In this case, I look at the project first. If I believe the project is good, then I prefer ICO. Because for me a project needs to have a good team to be good. And that's why I think that after the ICO, there will be no problems sending tokens. But if i did not trust so much that project, then I wouldn't prefer two options too.

You know what they say,,, go big or go home. If your project is just a mere ICO with no product and nothing to deliver, you might as well work hard to get it good enough for IEO,,, it does not matter if you eventually are accepted or not,,, it matters that your project became stronger and more technically able to make it on a IEO platform. The OP message could be misleading. Not listing on big exchanges because u cant afford doesn't make the project bad. Some projects have the money but wont list on big volume exchange. we will soon see the downturn of IEO when the confidence and money is available for investment. Most of the project listed are enduring the pump and dump while still far behind in the roadmap. Exchanges are making more of the profit from IEO that the project itself.

We don't have to invest based on the exchanges the good project may be found whether the exchanges small are big but we need to have enough knowledge about the project we are currently invoice to expect profit from that kind of investment simply following the crowd will get us to be in loss. This time i participated in ferrum ico and i don't care about IEO that run in the unreputable exchange site because they are all craps. I can say there was a lot of good IC which is much better than crap ico that partnered with crap exchange site. Invest in the trusted ICO is better than wasting your money in the unreputable IEO and exchange site and it's the same as you are investing your money in the scam ico consider unreputable exchange site will never try to create validation for ico that wanna be listed at that crap exchange site.

I think most investors would not prefer lesser known exchanges due to their lack of credibility and most of these investors are even doubtful to these unpopular exchanges thinking that they are doing IEO's of projects with lesser quality just for monetary considerations alone regardless of what negative effects it might bring to its stakeholders. Additionally,doing our own research on what projects to invest will be our best tool protect our capital even if we choose to invest in an ICO or an IEO respectively.

The name associated with ICO or the reputation of ICOs has been destroy and had no value while there's need for any project to start their fund rising with ICO but it will be safer with the IEOs because that's the latest means why by fund can be rise for the project. Personally, am not in support of the scam projects recommended.
Why do not you investigate coin, instead of exchange? Although IEOs in big exchanges are profitable, they cause the coins to lose value over time due to hype but if you are looking for a real project, look at what the project is.
