I don't think ETC is a good crypto to buy at this point in time, though I might be wrong about it but I don't see any need of me holding that coin since I already have ethereum which is far more better than ETC.
If there comes a time when new features are added to the ETC platform, then I might consider buying some coin, that is if the feature will have a very good real life use. When a coin is having an alternate to compete against it, we cannot be sure about its future. This way, ethereum classic is having strong competition from ethereum hence the future for ethereum-classic is always a doubtful one.

It's because the director of ETC Labs has also explained that the main reason for wanting to invest in this space is that the ETC platform is very secure and that it is creating a very competitive market. Oh, you are referring the portion of Devteam and does not represent the entire Developer team in ETC. ETC Labs is a different thing and if try to dig deeper then you will know that they far from broke.
