You'd have to pay import tax to import large amounts of gold right? probably also a license, and than pay taxes on your profits, there probably wouldn't be a lot left if any. Otherwise a big company would be doing this already.
My idea is not to buy big amounts but smaller frequently. And, no I don't have to pay taxes as soon as I bring 3 friends with me, put a necklace on each neck's (including mine) and also a couple of rings on our fingers.
Doing that they can't tell us anything as it's for personal use.

Currently the price of Turkish Lira is extremely cheap. For 200€ I can get 1000 Turkish Liras. Turks tend to make a special prices if you are paing with cash.I can get gold on the price of 100 liras for a gram = 20€.
I live in Greece which is next to Turkey and gold here is being sold for 27€ a gram. The distance I need to drive to the bigger markets is just hours. I am thinking of starting to make courses daily to buy gold and resell it instantly.
