I want to do something like this, but there are some limitations. I always think I may have a coffee shop where I can accept Bitcoin or something similar to encourage new people to Bitcoin. But my government strictly bans cryptocurrency here. Even if I want to do something but I can't do it. Whether bus drivers or owners accept Bitcoin payments or not, this running banners advertisement helps introduce Bitcoin to the new generation who aren't familiar yet. So definitely thanks to them. That's how brand new companies do marketing.
I hope you would stop your initiative to accept Bitcoin as alternative payment or running Bitcoin advertisement when your government is still ban cryptocurrency because you will be in trouble if someone have reported your coffee shop.

It doesn't mean I want to limit your idea, but you're also need to think you must be safe if you plan to do anything. You may earn respect and people who're a crypto enthusiast will in your side, but it's still not enough to beat your government.

then one thing come up to my mind that this commercial bus driver could have been a bitcoiner who is willing to accept the offer of bitcoin in making payments for his service charges in case of those interested to pay in bitcoin, also I had another thought about it that it's possible that the owner of the bus is the one who is into bitcoin and make the purchase of the bus through his realised profits from bitcoin,

In one way or the other, the owner of this bus must either be a Bitcoin believer/lover. One thing is involved, either he/she is a believes in Bitcoin, made an investment in Bitcoin or has had a big achievement from Bitcoin (just saying).

in short several thoughts begin to troop in when i saw this, obviously bitcoin can be a good source of business profitability from this example seeing above, many commercial activities are progressing well with the role and impact of bitcoin on them.
Bitcoin has really been a profitable source to most people lately, but many are yet left to consider the process. I started accepting crypto as the 4th means of payment in my business just recently and 5 people has already key in to pay me with BITCOIN, BUSD, USDT and BNB.

But this is totally different from the initiative that provided potable water to a rural village in Nigeria. The latter is indeed an effort that has a huge impact on the lives of the people. It's a selfless undertaking.

This one with the bus is nothing more of an initiative to promote Bitcoin. It's either it was a form of gratitude for making money out of Bitcoin or a way to promote Bitcoin because the owner HODLs some and he/she wants others to also buy so that the price will rise and more profit is made, or both.

You're right, i also thought about it in such a way that some cam make a good charity out from it by giving out a free or subsidized transportation means to the people through their realize profits from bitcoin hodl, the main idea is just in giving back to the society through what bitcoin has impacted in you either collectively or individually, the bus is a display of fortune indeed derived out of bitcoin by the person involved and he's trying to pass a message through by writing bitcoin allover the bus, this could be that bitcoin is an alternative to economy sustainability.

There is a growing number of individuals who knows Bitcoin already as it was too hot and more ads to pop up on the internet and social media. This initiative made locally but is has a global impact. But it was not the most needed for all of us, what we need is the support of the government and allow everyone to participate in this and make use of this in the local areas by encouraging establishments to offer payment options that accept Bitcoin. Not in a way of spreading news regarding banning Bitcoin and capturing those who hold it.

i got your interesting points here, if one or two governments can give a start as El-Savador and Central African Republic, then let's give it a time, this will definitely be achieved soon, by then governments will have no option than to comply with the advance system of digital decentralized currency called bitcoin and realized their mistakes with CBDC.

Bitcoin has penetrated into several countries so quickly, but it is just an introduction and not all of them are starting to enter the investment capacity, promotions are carried out on the bus, not yet fully conceptualized or maybe the pictures are just decorations, for example like the picture in this post. On closer inspection, the owners or drivers of commercial buses also don't quite understand what bitcoin looks like and how it works.

Especially for a more advanced stage, regarding payments using bitcoin, but at least bitcoin has begun to be introduced by the public, even those who do not know the concept of bitcoin itself.
Putting a picture of bitcoin on the bus like this, is quite impactful, because people will always see it, so bitcoin will continue to be talked about.

I feel bitcoin is already big and has spread wide that we do not have to be too excited with things like this, bitcoin can be inscribed on a bus, shirt, football club jersey, etc, it is not much of a big deal as it would have been maybe 7 years ago, it does not mean that the small things matter no more, what it means is that it will not be celebrated like it would have been before, and that is great because it signals that the network is developing. Bitcoin being a legal tender, businesses accepting it, traditional investors acquiring, etc, are some of the news that bitcoin users celebrate more now.

In the present day, we can easily see the word Bitcoin or its logo everywhere showing its exponential growth and unstoppable heat. Although, this is just a fairly normal activity because we may have seen and exposed too much, for many parts of the world bitcoin is still very strange, so images like this appearing somewhere where bitcoin hasn't been introduced would also be a good thing and should be spread more so that bitcoin can cover every corner of the world.

The owner of the bus must have had some great experience with Bitcoin that he decorated his/her bus with Bitcoin everywhere. It's possible he/she made some nice profit from Bitcoin's growth in price over the years.

But unfortunately no one explains what the Bitcoin writing on the bus means. Either it's just a logo, or the bus was bought from a Bitcoin investment.

I think Bitcoin is always acceptable when the environment already has a Bitcoin knowledge base. That is the importance of education in an environment that we can reach so that people are more open to digital cryptocurrency transactions.

just like with many buses.. while sat inside there is plenty of roof space and back of seat space to put advertising on.
you dont ned a PR guy doing speaches or presentations and training..

a simple bullet point poster explaining another way to store value and send value without bank limits and opening hours can be advertised to explain bitcoin in very simple terms without waffle.

that can get people to try it

in the UK we have the bus ticket machine that accepts cash, debit cards, qr codes of prepaid season tickets and prepaid apps.

posters in the bus do not need to describe what a currency is. but simply a download the app and pay easily via this app..
and then let the website explain the process

I've seen some people do this and it's a thing though since it's a good way to promote without actually saying anything but the bad part is they don't know how it works. Sooner or later they will recognize the adoption of Bitcoin and would proceed to use it as if a normal currency but for now let people know what Bitcoin is by feeding their curiosity on why people are using this. Although, the adoption seems to be expanded successfully it still need people to be wary if they think owning or investing in Bitcoin would get them rich in a day.

I think the inscriptions on the first bus reads: FORWARD BITCOIN SACCO  and the third pictures BITCOIN FORWARD SACCO. I did a search on the meaning SACCO in Kenya and it stands for Savings and Credit Cooperative Organization. So it is like a cooperative society in which members that has common interest come together to give soft loans to members from a common contributed fund. They are registered by the Kenyan government to accept deposits and give loans to members with less interest. SACCO became very popular in Kenya because of the cumbersome bureaucratic bottleneck Kenyans go through to get loans. I am suspecting that this SACCO is very friendly to Bitcoin. Maybe they accept or have invested in Bitcoin. It could also be that they are Bitcoin fans or lovers.

This is a good initiative, especially if there is a barcode at the exit to pay. Because it's the only suitable alternative if applied in public transport cars. No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
This kind of initiatives are really heart-warming and truly a thing to be admired. I think if the operator of the bus do accept mode of payment in Bitcoin then he/she should understand that it need something like knowledge to pay in Bitcoin or to transact with it. It should be worth noted too that it's not instant unless they know something to transact off chain like Lightning Network.

A commercial Bus was spotted in Kenya with bitcoin inscribed all over it in the city while in motion, surely bitcoin is in everywhere! then one thing come up to my mind that this commercial bus driver could have been a bitcoiner who is willing to accept the offer of bitcoin in making payments for his service charges in case of those interested to pay in bitcoin, also I had another thought about it that it's possible that the owner of the bus is the one who is into bitcoin and make the purchase of the bus through his realised profits from bitcoin, in short several thoughts begin to troop in when i saw this, obviously bitcoin can be a good source of business profitability from this example seeing above, many commercial activities are progressing well with the role and impact of bitcoin on them.

And lastly, a thought came to me about this, if many can also make use of opportunities like this from bitcoin to invest while impacting lives with initiatives related to this, for instance whereby one can raise a subsidized commercial transportation means with the aim of helping the less privileged and those who are financially incapacitated, I've seen
initiative targeted at raising suitable drinking water for the community through bitcoin projects
and the likes, and i think there's much to picture from the images above in making something good out of bitcoin by reaching out on others in our own capacity.
