Big funds or whales could invest in this coin but I will not do that, if long term investment is the case, I choose to wait more as I think it will crash  Smiley

The market cap is indeed high for a project at this stage. I'm holding a small number in my crypto portfolio for diversification.

...but i dumped all of my coins because i lost my hope on them, i dont like the way that they are threating their investors...

Uh oh that's very bad sign. I also have noticed some things about the management which does not promise good. I hope they do not mess up the whole thing. There is so much more outside of the technology bubble which have to be taking very seriously.

As said in paper everything looks good from the technology point of view but the business itself does not look as good at all. Their achievements have been modest or missing.

Maybe this thing just is in too early stage for serious investments. Too much promises too less real business results.

I will follow this thingy for awhile and if the current trend will continue I will dump too.

market cap $1,243,664,691

you wonder it's not going anywhere ?

and yes, don't bs yourself with this "long term hodling".

it isn't going anywhere because there aren't enough buyers for +$1,000,000,000 worth of miotas and giotas

IOTA is a very very ling term investment.
The price was pumped. Right now it is correcting but still high.
There is nothing to justify the price. Ok they are great at marketing with tipbots and stuff but no development .
I dont say it is a shitcoin but you have let the tech speak for itself. After we see some development I believe the price will be a lot higher.
I give it 2 3 years.

I tried to open a discussion about the situation in Reddit but the post got deleted allmost immediately so I'll try my luck here.

Any idea why IOTA is plummeting while other major markets such Bitcoin and Ethereum are rising ?

http://charts.dacharts.net/2017-10-14/chart170.jpg

In short past IOTA been following quite well these markets which I read a healthy state but the last month has been a small disaster. Of course could be temporary but just would like to know if someone knows something what could cause this kind of divergence into markets.

Should we get concerned about this situation ?

Price of IOT arose few 100 times from ICO. So people that invested 1 BTC in it now have few hundreds of BTC of IOTa.  Ofcourse they are dumping tiny pieces of their IOTa pile.  Lambos dont come out of nothing.

I use to hold more than three thousand dollars worth of IOTA, but i dumped all of my coins because i lost my hope on them, i dont like the way that they are threating their investors, and the founders are such a garbage, their project is good, and it has been well developed, but the owners are acting like if they are the kings of the world, i didnt like their attitude, and this is why i dumped all my coins a long time ago.

As we all may very well know the markets are allways right. The current price action has it's meaning and causes.  The question is do we really understand what is going on. This is why pure technical price action on the charts does not lie.

IOTA supporters/people are very sure about the excellence of their technology and in paper it is very easy to go along but the history is full of examples where the best technogy has not been the one who wins the war. I sometimes am thinking the current management how they do their job...

Anyway. I am the owner of this coin and many others. Just would like to get some discussion about the situation and future.

btw. I didn't put this message into IOTA thread because I suppose it will be deleted on there...
