Yes, you are absolutely right - this is shit form Vasnire (my opinion - Vansire is a mad scammer).
Pleas use computer with GPU's (AMD or NVidia or both) and CPU with SSE2 and you will see perfect results.

I hope that is a laptop you don't care about because if it's true it downloads a Trojan when you run it, you're now in the possession of an infected computer.
Some things that could happen with infected computers:
Change your wallpaper
Mine to a different address
Redirect your internet traffic
Read your passwords
Use your computer to attack other computers on the internet
Infect other computer in your local network
Encrypt all your files and ask money to decrypt them

But has anyone tested it? Any numbers out there, compared to other miners?
I tried to test it on a laptop that is not on my network, just to be carefull. But it can not do CPU mining if there is no GPU, so i was unable to test it. It just complains that no GPU drivers and stops.

This miner is hosted on GitHub, a web based hosting service for version control using git. Git is primarily used for source code code management in software development. The uploader of IPmonero hasn't included any source code. It's hard to tell if the miner software can be trusted, even if you run it thru a virus scanner. Maybe a hidden dev fee of 20%? Or after running 2 days it downloads ransomware and installs it on all computers on your LAN? What about open source licenses, there's a big chance the dev used GPL open source software to create the miner software, and is violating that GPL license by not distributing the source code.
