I know this isn't a Bitcoin meeting, but it's Bitcoin-related so excuse me if it's wrong of me to plug this here.

Our group is having a public meeting tonight (Thursday 16),

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/poker-meeting-2262

#pokerface on freenode

Our project has been generating lots of interest on other non-bitcoin sites:

Would be nice to have people from the Bitcoin community there.

Chrome 6? Try to sync your personal data and settings,
then uninstall Google Chrome and remove all userdata...
Code:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
After that install last version - and sync userdata back.
PS. Make a backup of your userdata before removing it.

Thanks.

It started working on it's own though. After about 3 days.

So... are these meeting actually happening anywhere?

I do not believe so.  I rarely see Xunie around anymore, and I have never seen satoshi.  What kind of meetings would be useful?

Is anyone else having trouble with webchat.freenode.net when using Chrome? I had no problems for 2 months, now the captcha does not appear. It works fine in Firefox.

I'll attend if my schedule works out, would be interesting to see what topics are chat about.  Smiley

Me too. I'm new to Bitcoin and I would love to hear what people think in a meeting format.

I'd volunteer to manage a bot that logs the sessions and puts them online, just tell me which network and what channel ^^

If someone could please post a transcript of any IRC meetings that take place, that would be highly appreciated!

I'm available any time between about 12pm and 3am EST (UTC-5 (or -4 right now for daylight savings)).

That's when I sleep!  Meeting whenever is most convenient for Satoshi makes sense to me.

As discussed before here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/irc-weekly-meetings-189
But since that thread has died and no one really got any wiser of it, I'm creating a poll.

Holding IRC meetings would be quite handy in discussing, maybe an hour or so per meeting?
Anyone wishing to speak would just drop me a message.

So, what would be a good time to hold the meetings?
Do not forget to note your timezone! Tongue

Edit: People, please post a time which is convenient for you.
It helps a lot knowing when people are available.
