Sounds really exciting guys,,, but why did you choose Ethereum blockchain? Yes, I know it is easy to make tokens and all the game dapps showed us how good smart contracts can be for games, but you know also that it only takes 100 players or so to entirely clog up the network right? Or maybe even 10 hardcore players and gas prices will be insane.

Try another fast and cheap blockchain perhaps.

Iron Throne was Greatly Introduced in Investor Day in Singapore!
Yang Peng and Yang Liu, two co-founders of INFUN, were invited to attend Investor Day in Singapore on Sep. 18 2018. Iron Throne, the world first Blockchain strategic war game developed by INFUN, is a great representative in the Blockchain game industry.

Yang Peng gave a brief introduction of Iron Throne in this event. Let’s take a closer look at what was going on.

Hello everyone. I am very glad to join the meeting today. My name is Peng Yang. The CEO and Co-founder of INFUN. Before we established INFUN, I worked at UBISOFT and TENCENT. INFUN is a Blockchain game company. The core team members are from Tencent who have more than ten years of game industry working experience.

Today I’d like to introduce the game that we are working on, Iron Throne. It is a strategic war game running on Ethereum. All the gameplay logics we built use Smart Contracts. In this game, you can play as a Lord of an empire, or you can play as a Leader of a clan. No matter which role you take. The goal for the player is to win the war and to obtain glory. Everyone can play as a leader, but if he wants to be a king, he is required to purchase land first, and become a lord who are entitled to more privileges in the game.

If you’re a lord. You can mine in-game tokens, collect rental incomes, train troops and trade. Additionally, you can declare war against another lord, or you can join a war and choose a side to support. If you play as a leader, you cannot collect rental incomes and declare wars, but the rest of the features are almost the same except mining. If a Leader wants to mine, he needs to choose a piece of land to rent first, and every token he mines, he needs to pay dividends to the landlord.

In our game, the war has four phases including Declaration, Troop Station, Attack and End phase.

When a lord declares a war against another, Declaration phase is initiated. The system will publish the declaration on the war notice board so that other players can see and decide whether to get involved or decide which side to support. When the Declaration phase ends, the war will move to the Troop Station phase. In this phase, Player needs to choose which type of troops to station and how many of them he wants to dispatch. Since every data is visible on the blockchain, we will create a hash to store the real data, so no other player can peek at during this phase. In the Attack phase, Player needs to send the real data to the Smart contract and the data must match what is stored on the hash. If it is matched, the deposit paid in the previous phase will be returned to the player. Otherwise, the deposit will be confiscated. In the end phase, the winner can loot tokens. While the losing side will lose all the tokens invested on his land.
In our game. Sixty percent of tokens can be mined for free. We use power of steak mechanism for mining. Player needs to store his tokens on the land. The more he stores the more he can get, but at the same time, the more dangerous it will be. Because other players will see that there’s a lot of tokens on your land and will want to attack you. Thus, the mining system is not just for mining, but also for provoking the War, which drives the game forward. Besides, with the dynamic generating mechanism, more miners mean more tokens to be generated each day, but an upper limit is imposed on the daily token output.

Iron Throne Token is our in-game Currency. It is an ERC Twenty standard token. A player can buy and sell tokens in Third party exchanges. He can mine tokens in the game or loot from other players and use them to buy any in Game resources. It is also a deflationary token. After mining from the game, player can use them to train or heal troops for battle. The system will burn a certain percentage of tokens in those Transactions. We believe that a deflationary token will be better for the game ecosystem.

In the game, we have three different troops. They counter each other. Therefore, there is a chance that player can win with fewer troops, making the war more strategic. Player can obtain troops from training, and each type of troop is an ERC twenty token. This means that player can buy and sell those troops in our in-game market. Moreover, player can buy and sell troops in any token exchanges that support this token standard. It will be very interesting to see a game resource circulate in token exchanges.

There will be more systems in the future, like hero system, world quest and more functional buildings in the game. Our final Goal for this game is to help players to create their own content, and they can make a profit from that. For instance(example), he can open a shop in the game and sale resources, or if he can code, he can write smart contract for this game and make profits as well.
