So I now try to sell a picture for $12 to establish some trust. But there is no bid so maybe not possible. I don't know what else to sell so this might be slow.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/one-1-original-picture-to-hang-on-wall-2598034

well thats not how it works

You can't just go on to sell some usual stuff to gain trust, it takes time...

Also the higher the amount of trade- higher the trust people should have(technically)
To determine the price at the beginning will take time so it is still not clear the exact price because we will not know the price of a work of art before the artwork is determined by the collector of artwork through the auction process so that it can be determined at a reasonable price and trust will emerge.

All this BS back and forth over a one to two grand Kialara is amazing. 3 pages and no deal yet? Gimme a break. I would never deal with a newbie after this thread it seems the newest members cause the most grief.

The 2 people who are definitely in the top 3-4 list of kialara collectors in this game have tried to make a deal to no avail.. so Its not really worth discussing any more is it. Op should really take a look at some of the deals done here on the forum before making demands for face to face meetings for a $1200 item.

am not gonna comment on your first sentence.

Grin That sure escalated quickly!

I'm now officially dubbed a serial killer on forum. I must have cake tonight.

You gotta understand that no one over the internet will send you money when you do not have a established trust and wouldn't meet anyone online after such long talks. you're either trolling or i don't know

you can never be sure at these times

Yea we all know you got a bigger Kialara cock than me at the moment Mr SKY!! go on show some Kialara porn for this man.. show him the size of the kialara penis you own..

OP - you really should have a look at the escrows here. MinerJones or Lauda are decent escrows have held many multiples of this amount for a number of people here. its as secure a transaction as you are ever likely to get

Thanks sky.. I can also vouch that sky also has more kialara's than op can count to. Sky due to OP's attitude he could very well be a serial killer so I would advise you not to put the snowman in such a position as to meeting this person.

It is a great shame as two of the biggest kialara collectors are trying to buy this item and the seller just won't budge

Aha you refer to things outside my knowledge. But good news I live so close to Hhampuz that we can do deal without need of trust. Skype and his eyes tell you that the Kialara in the pictures is the Kialara i am selling.
You must study pictures to learn the item. They are high resolution.

I don't have to learn the item. I have more kialara' than you can probably count to. I've given you some reasonable terms to work to but you don't want to deal in that way. So my offer is now pulled, judging by your stubbornness I wouldn't want hhampuz to have to meet you face to face on my behalf

I have tried to buy this bar from OP several months back but as we can see, it failed because of no Escrow Acceptance.
@OP, i do understand that you're paranoid but you have to understand that Escrows like Minerjones have taken care of million dollars of ICO and Escrows in total. Also, TMAN does own a lot of kialara bars, i can vouch for that Tongue

@Hhampuz, i remember you are 2h drive away from OP or sth? maybe if he does it at 1000$ , you can maybe pick it up? IDK
i would like to keep a bar which is of no use to someone and is lying around in a way. Kialara deserves much respect

Sure I don't trust either.
I need legal or physical reach to my counterpart to feel good. But since i have posted my name and facebook, anyone in EU has legal reach at me, and anyone crazy enough has physical reach.
So yeah.

if you do not trust escrows who have held Millions of dollars of other peoples funds, you dont trust Hhampuz who has just put together the largest satori group buy to date... then who do you trust?

you just wont be able to transact here without some flexibility.. and just because you are trying to sell some stuff to build rep doesnt mean people will send to you 1st.. so you are going to be well out of luck.. stick it on ebay might be your only choice fella

I will buy this off you for your $1200 asking price in BTC .. but the deal will need to be structured in a way that protects us both.

1) I send the funds to an EU based escrow. This will ensure a quick release to you as you are in a similar timezone.
2) you ship the item by registered insured mail to Hhampuz.. if he is willing to do this for me.
3) once Hhampuz confirms it is exactly as described he will instruct the escrow to release the funds to you

if these terms work you could have the funds with you in 24-48 hours as you are both in the same country

let me know

Ok so now I try to sell another picture at higher prize, maybe people can trust me soon.
But seems like many low quality souls here so I can see if your trust to humans are a little shy.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/original-art-2714655

It would appear as if you don't have too much trust in people either so I would not point fingers if I were you..

There's a proven system here that has worked for a long time with escrows and all of that, if you are not too aware of these things it does not take a lot to find out about all of it Smiley.

When was a number this low ever even brought up to think about being for sale?

This should fetch a stupid high price

That was my first thought.. this should fetch quite a premium over the higher 100+ numbers.. except i suppose its imperfect condition / lack of sleeve hurts it a bit.  IMO .15-.2 seems reasonable.

There were about 1500 original Kialaras made. With a low serial number you should be able to get about $1200 for it. Not having the original sleeve does bother some collectors though. Asking 0.21 btc is a bit much, for that a buyer could get a Silver Kialara whose mintage was only 250. The originals are not as prized as the Silvers or Golds. Just the way the market works. Also the market is a bit soft right now. I agree with others that you should start an auction using one of the trusted members here like minerjones for escrow. Good luck with the sale!

Yes saying price in bitcoin doesn't work so well it changes fast. You say $1200, OK that's food. I will try to maximize some. I say who gives me $1300 in bitcoin or Swedish currency can pick it up or be sent it after payment. We can do deal over video-app. I show coin/artpiece and QR to camera, state verbally what is to happend and you send. This way we have clear recording with blockchain evidence for legal claims. I am Ayn Rand level honest though so will not be problem.

You say escrow. Does one send the piece to escrow for reshipping?

With escrow, you both agree on using a reputable member on here (there are a few to choose from).
The escrow holder provides the buyer with an address to fund.
Once payment has been confirmed, you send the item straight to the buyer. Once they receive it, they ask the escrow to release the funds to you (the seller).
If there are any issues then the escrow evaluates the dispute.
For an item of this value it is highly advisable to send tracked (insured would be a good idea too).

Ok whoever can do a pickup north of Stockholm or send btc first gets it for 0.2 btc.
For 0.21 btc i can deliver it personally in Uppsala region.

As I told you on facebook, I'm willing to help you out and I'm willing to tell you who you can trust here Cheesy. If you'd use minerjones as the escrow for this deal you would not have to worry the slightest.

This is normal practice here.. physical pickup does limit your potential customers A LOT.

You have to state some terms as well as the fact that it is an auction. What you have posted here is more a question of what it could be worth Cheesy.

I don't actually think the first batch came with branded sleeves or anything like that. I believe that mine was simply wrapped for shipping Huh

They weren't branded sleeves, but white foam-like sleeves with numbering on them in pen.  Pictured below.

Do you have the original Sleeve?

unfortunately with OG Nasty Slandering Kialara, and the upturn in BTC price the market is slightly stale on these, the last original I purchased I paid under 0.25BTC but it was no where near this low a number, I know of sales in the 1BTC+ area for sub #20 originals, but as I say this is when BTC was much lower...

the only way to get a true market assessment is to auction the item

Interesting, I have one of the first batch Kialaras as well (the first group was announced on Reddit and sold on eBay). I know mine has some imperfections in the metal as well but it's hard to say how much of that is an error as part of early production or simply part of the production process itself. I'll pull out the macro lens for some reference shots maybe you can let me know how it compares.

Really nice low number you have there by the way!

Thank you for saying that. Mayhaps I should have thought of it. I have now added a third picture in the link with my my username and date in writing, and arrows to the defect. just a slight imperfection in the metal cut.

Oh yes I can see them now.

Don't you guys see that the address in the box on the back of it is missing? Put your Kialara glasses on gosh darnit!

EDIT: After viewing the 3rd image I see the address is there, although it seems to be in very bad condition or put in there wrong?

Maybe the light reflection?
