Where is my ring of blades...
I don't see why this year should be any different from other years for altcoins.

every year there are at least a couple of altcoins that will shine a couple of months at the very best and that has always been like this.

I think if anything is to happen, this year can be worse for altcoins because bitcoin will soon take all the attention from altcoin market when it starts really going up.

Yep it is exact mirror of the dot com bubble, there will be champions and failures, but it is all leading in the right direction.

Alts are a minuscule subsect of Bitcoin which is itself minuscule. Dotcom ensnared entire global stock markets and lost trillions. That sounds far more fun than our current turnovers.

Bitcoin, in any case, will be the leader.
Lisk, such as done in the hype yobit traded wrappers, is this normal? After all, many were led to it and lost their money.
I'll look to the other Altcoins, but have not yet found a interesting long-term investment plan.

I saw the rise and fall of the altcoin market in 2013-2014. I would say that if we will see again a huge rise in BTC price we can expect some more pump and dumps schemes in the altcoin world. But before that nothing really is going on.

I think every year is the year of altcoin, because every year is definitely very many new coins, and altcoin always used for the purposes of trade, so I guess this will never disappear

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
every year is the year of rising altcoins, so far i have seen each year there are at least a couple of altcoins that will rise at least 1000x and with a big market too and there is a lot of profit in each one of them.

Talking of wining and losing, it's this price fluctuation that makes me very carefull with altcoins. I don't like losing.

Yes, right, the anology to the dot com bubble is a good fit. Let's find out who will win and who will loose! ;-)
Yep it is exact mirror of the dot com bubble, there will be champions and failures, but it is all leading in the right direction. Very exciting for all of us to be a part of something so historic.

Hi everybody,

i am long time invested in bitcoin and had bought just some 1 or 2 altcoins in very minimal amounts during the last years myself.

Due to a (somehow ;-)) stabilizing bitcoin price i started to look for some alternatives, both from an investment and as well from a technological perspective.

I found IOTA, LISK and maybe WAVES during the next month to come and even started to read more about other prominent altcoins as well, where i hadn't spent much time before.

To sum it up: for me the various altcoins due to their technical and business options are more interesting for me at the moment compared to the future of bitcoin, and so i started to read a lot more about everything non-bitcoin since during the last 4-5 years at all.

Anyone like me, new to the altcoin scene and surprised and excited about the variety and options for the future?

Cheers

Jens
