My electricity here is about 0.08/kWH and I heard a lot of news about the s5 becoming unprofitable. Will the s7 be profitable?

No it won't, you need at most 0.04cents/KwH to break even with S7. You might investigate on some profitable SHA 256 altcoin to mine with S7.

The S7 is not even worth turning on if you pay more than 9 cents per kWh for electricity.

Your 8 cents per kWh is so close to not even covering electricity that I would not touch an S7 if I was you.

If you are talking about buying one now in order to try and make a profit its just to late. The difficulty will increase to a point where you arent even making money on electricity in no time if you ask me.

its true, with only one hardware mining i think its not profitable but if you have 10-20 of s7 then maybe its still worth and profitable but you should think about electricity fee.

Yeah i said to go to the altcoin section because its sorta forbidden to talk about not Bitcoin on the specifically Bitcoin section. But you'd be using GPUs.

I wouldnt even buy an ASIC with such high electric costs Sad You're at the borderline, where even if its profitable, all your profits will go to upkeep. Better go to the altcoin section.

Wouldn't recommend buying one to mine at 0.08. There's a significant risk that difficulty rises enough for you to never reach ROI.
If you already have one, you still have a bit of time left before it's not profitable.
