another one here that got goxed... i was trading there and i was doing pretty good almost every time.
there are many times since then that lost sleep, like last night some hours also.
the point is that if you want be part of this some BTC need keep and wait like forget you have.
In the period after gox i sold some because mtgox took me about 90% of my bitcoins, butterfly labs took my also another 50% before that. i managed to have more after and today we wait for the gox ones

regarding the current situation the price will go down maybe 800€ - 900€ if the ETF is rejection. let's see maybe today we have news or later tomorrow.

HODL life is the way to go if you want easy sleep and an easy life

I bought up at 350 and I'm still here at 1300, I've never been that dedicated with trading nor with monitoring prices, although I do trade a bit. Every day I wake up I remind myself price will go up or I'll keep holding.

I'm not a 2013 guy but I've been looking at BTC since 2014 and I don't plan on giving it up anytime soon.

I guess tonight I can sleep tight even if bitcoin has gone under rally up or down because I will let my money work for me. If price increased, Well its good and if not then okay I will just wait for another pump than losing sleep over watching bitcoin price movements. Its better to set sell to a target price so that I can sleep tight tonight or set buy at a targrt price too.

Check the title, and check the current event with Bitcoin. that will make you understand what he is talking about.

Now bitcoin has crossed $1200, So it is amazed, because it is first time when i see bitcoin crossed $1200, before it i never see may be bitcoin has been crossed, but for me it is first time. Its mean bitcoin is not sleeping, even we see it or not. But it is still working and now to see the price of bitcoin, really i can't sleep tonight.

I never leave open orders anymore, it's too scary for me. What if you put a buy order at a dip like $1080, but then it crashes a lot more.

Or you put a buy order that never arrives and you are left behind.

I want to be able to take decisions live, if I leave orders opened im more nervous.

You have to eventually sleep, because you will eventually start going insane if you try to keep track of the bitcoin price 24 hours. I know that because it happened to me. in 2013 when the big bubble happened I spent 2 days without sleep following the rise, I was nuts.

I think I will sleep tonight... New ATH is going to happen while I am sleeping... Nothing special to me since I am not cashing out or selling my few satoshis when the new ATH is reached... But I will be glad if we reach that point, it will be another milestone for bitcoin... Maybe we will be seeing a lot of much higher ATH after that...

I was of the impression, more hear saying, that the announcement will probably be made on Monday 13th as we know the official date is the 11th, which is a saturday.

as far as i understand it will the ETF be automatically approved, when no different ruling by SEC until the 11th. which is a saturday. i guess if we do not hear from the SEC until friday afternoon on the 10th .... moon...

I was going to sleep soundly after placing my buy order earlier today, but the service I use to exchange fiat for bitcoin recently changed the process and now it'll take a few working days to set everything up again.

I have nothing big in my wallet, and I have no plan to sell right now.

With that said, I will just be sleeping and keep my self away from the charts, it will just make me think more and more. Also, after waking up, I will avoid drinking coffee. That might make me think twice.

Well, I believe in trading and working when I am well rested. Being tried and unfocused will result to pretty bad choices and in the end you will just end up losing more money than you will gain from not sleeping. Another thing is that, when you don't sleep you will get sick and that means you spend more money and then you have to be idle since you can't work.

There is nothing specific to make people not to sleep. The price variations with bitcoin is a common thing. It repeats as a cyclic process. For every price up and down it has a reason, now this time the price is the gradual one without dependence on any of the factors which stand aside for price movement.
