No trust exchange is not allowed because simple it doesn't makes someone trustworthy
As in real life trust is earned so should be on bitcointalk

Soon, I have to go away.
Do i neg trust someone then that would be following rules  Huh

trust ratings have nothing to do with rules. it is not moderated.

if forum rules are broken you get banned.
if someone thinks you are a scammer you get a neg-rate.

two completely different concepts.

That is strange I get neg trust from a real scammer who actually stole, also neg trust for no apparent legit reason from other user, just because they feel like it.
#OffTopic you got it from dooglus and other people not on DT because you were promoting a ponzi, which everyone knows , in the end will scam. And as trust is unmoderated, only way to get it removed is by asking the person who gave it to you, and trying to improve.

Thanks for that, I may just get in touch with him.
Much appreciated for the help.
I never knew I could do that, cheers.

Had some Newbie always is asking to give them positive trust in exchange for an account. Is it against forum rules ?

Buying trust ratings is highly frowned upon by the community, though it is not being moderated in any way. Once you break the official forum rules, then you'll have a problem with the mods.

The trust system is not moderated and there are no rules, only general community guidelines that are not written down and may change retroactively.

On one hand giving out a free item in exchange for trust may be seen as purchasing trust which is something the community very much does not like.

On the other hand, it is not uncommon for people to offer "vouch" copies of various items for sale so someone can review the quality of such items being sold. It may be more convenient to write a review of the "vouch" copy on a person's trust profile so it would be easier to display such review (especially if it is not unnecessarily long) instead of writing such review in a post that may already be several pages deep in a thread. In reality, a review being written on someone's trust page is not different from such review being written on a sales thread.

It's not against the rules, as the trust system is not moderated. But it is frowned upon so as onemorexmr mentioned, the user doing it will get negative rep in return pretty fast.

its not against the rules, but many DT members neg-rate if someone asks for trust.
IMHO trust is something you earn; you cant ask for it.

No it is not, but you should reconsider the decision regarding the trust feedback as the OP(other person) hasn't actually done anything to gain your trust. And if he does persist in asking for positive trust, something is shady .
