Yes, stocks aren't volatile as bitcoin and that's why bitcoin isn't for the fainted heart. While for stocks, it's good as the game of the whales too but not that much volatile.
The volatility of stocks may not be comparable to the volatility of bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is known for its high volatility. Both of these investments are risky but the risk of investing in stocks is arguably lower than investing in bitcoin. To be honest, I didn't know much about stock investing until I read a few things about it, but I truly believe that bitcoin investing is much more stressful than any investment.
When you think that you're not yet fine in diversifying in some altcoins and other investments aside from bitcoin/crypto, you can have your own journey in picking stocks. Honestly, it's one of my plans but I haven't executed yet since it's going to require me another capital that I'll allocate there but hopefully, someday if some of my investments goes on high again that includes bitcoin, I'll diversify on a few stocks.

Having a little capital in stocks will only teach you some lessons but it won't grow as much as holding bitcoin. For which, has been proven to be one of the best assets that really changes one's lifetime based on how long he's holding and at what price it has been bought/sold.
I don't know exactly which assumption is correct, but I think these two investments are also profitable in the long term so they are also worth considering. But if you ask which one is the best, I'm more likely to choose bitcoin that I have known so far over stocks.
Just like in crypto, your picking of stocks will also be crucial. We may say that in general, it's profitable and the same goes for investing in crypto in general. But there will be stocks that won't be profitable even in the long run because of poor business management of that company.

Can't agree. Stocks are not as volatile as bitcoin. But the behavior of the markets is similar, depending on different events. Bitcoin is simply more volatile, and therefore its fall or rise is more significant. What is also worth considering is a different approach to analysis and behavior regarding support and resistance levels in different markets. But the reaction of both markets is usually the same and goes either up or down.

We can't compare other stocks with Bitcoin. Because others stocks aren't volatile like Bitcoin. There is a reason why whales become a millionaire during the Bitcoin bull. Most of us become panic and sell our holdings during a bear market. And whales accumulate when we start the sale. And they don't become panic, as a result, they take huge advantage of the volatility. That's how whales become richer and billionaire.

I assume you are talking about the USA Stock Market because the effect of USA stock market can change many things in many markets including the bitcoin and cryptocurrency market, if you check how the price works over time you can easily understand during the time when Wallstreet opens up for trading the bitcoin trading volume rise up and the during the time when the stock market collapse usually the bitcoin and cryptocurrency market collapse with it, also there is the same situation for most of the markets and not just the bitcoin and cryptocurrency market.

As a superpower, the United States is so strong that it can become a benchmark for other countries in terms of the economy, for decades they have remained in control. We know that most of the stock or crypto markets today still depend on the news that is happening in the United States, so while it's still warm, of course you don't need to make a hesitant choice when you want to buy a stock or coin in the market.

Bitcoin makes the world go 🔃
Although I was involved in the stock market and forex for a short time before getting into crypto, I can say that they are not the same thing. The cryptocurrency market is a lot more volatile and a lot riskier, if you don't hold bitcoin without holding shitcoins, shitcoins will die or disappear making you lose your money forever but this does not happen in the forex market. They are just fluctuate and will recover then it's just a matter of time fast or slow, not disappear like in cryptocurrencies. Because without regulation, cryptocurrencies are more susceptible to manipulation and there are more scams during bear season, which is rare for the other 2 markets.
Forex and Stock market and even in the cryptocurrencies may only be affected due to economic crisis, but it will give investors time to make decisions when we heard these new. Maybe thats the only the same in them but since cryptocurrencies is more risky due to many coins and factors affecting it, it is much affected when bear season and crisis happens. If it happens that we're holding a shitcoins it may not be able to recover at all after the crisis.

I have seen that Bitcoin is always goes in bull and also bear market seasons and in these cycles only big whales are earning and they wil be always be millionaires.
But in Stock market that has lasted almost decades to centuries and I do not know if they have also been going like Cryptocurrency market.
I think that united States dollars was in bearish for many years when Us Has war with Afghanistan. And now I think it is in bull run season for many years though United States economy is not too strong.
So there are many Big members that might have knowledge can address Me.

Not your keys, not your coins!
If you ask about psychology of market, it is the same in stock market and cryptocurrency market. Because human in general are very similar and they repeat their mistakes, their bad decisions from stock market to cryptocurrency market as well as other markets. They are greed when they should be fearful and they are fearful when they should be greed.

However, market cycles can be different in stock market and in cryptocurrency market. It can be longer or shorter and the level of depression, angry, greed and so on in two markets can be different. In general, psychology cycle is similar and both markets must complete some basic phases in bear market as preparation for next bull market.

Stock and Cryptocurrency market are completely different, also the holders are have different perception and different generation. I'd stock market is full of old or matured people while cryptocurrency market is full of millennial or younger generation. Younger generation will panic when there's a bad news and they're mostly doesn't know anything before invest. While old or matured people are more be careful and wouldn't be panic when there's a bad news.

not the same, if the stock market has experienced a loss, then to recover the value, additional funds are needed to stabilize the value,
In contrast to crypto, if there is a decline, investors will be more enthusiastic about increasing wealth.

Could be different in terms of volatility obviously, both markets are connected, but if you can see last month, when bitcoin is like -10% because of the CPI, the stock market is just like -2% to high of -4%. And then we have the 4 year cycle in crypto, but I doubt that stocks have this one. It's either they will be in a long bull run.

I'm not that expert, but isn't it the dollar weakening right now as the US economy is in recession? And if they are in a bull run then why we have the housing projects problems in the past?

Nothing lasts forever
In most cases, the bear markets in cryptocurrency have lasted around 2-3 years whereas in stock markets it has lasted longer.
Cryptocurrency is still in its early stage and hence the volatility is high in crypto market and in the long term the price of bitcoin have always broken its ATH.
The price of various cryptocurrencies are going up in the long run. In a nutshell while the stock market and crypto market do have some similarities, crypto market is fast moving with high volatility.

I think there's no much difference between bear market in stock market and cryptocurrency market, it's either because bad economy or some unpredictable bad news.

Bad economy will ruin any market: stock, cryptocurrency, gold, silver, real estate etc will get affected too.

Unpredictable bad news in stock market are like bankrupt, lawsuit, internal problem, etc which mostly you wouldn't know if you're not a big person in that's company. While in cryptocurrency market, it's much vary like country and bank ban crypto, government trying to attack crypto on anything etc.

In a way any market that you can trade in are the same. You can only make profit if you can speculate in that market by knowing what affects it and will lose money if you enter it blindly.
But the difference that bitcoin has from other markets is that it is on an adoption path which means its price will always go up in the long run. Unlike stocks which don't really have an "adoption phase" and can only go up if the company is doing well or the economy is good.

I have seen that Bitcoin is always goes in bull and also bear market seasons and in these cycles only big whales are earning and they wil be always be millionaires.
You don't need to be a whale to make profit, you just have to be wise.

The cryptocurrency (aka altcoins) market can be compared to penny stocks market which is a small market that lists shit stocks with low value and most of them have no utilities and die sooner or later. Altcoins are the same. We also have the market manipulation that is dominating the altcoin market because it is not regulated.

All fiat currencies are always in a bear market simply because there is an unlimited supply of them. In other words the governments keep printing them so they lost their value over time.

And now I think it is in bull run season for many years though United States economy is not too strong.
Considering the inflation in US and how price of everything is going up, US dollar could be considered in a "bear market".

if you look at almost the entire stock market and crypto is clearly different, you will not see in the stock market from what you see in the crypto market and vice versa, crypto can go up thousands of percent overnight and you will not likely see that in the stock market Likewise sometimes the crypto market can drop thousands of percent overnight and you don't find it in the stock market either, if you want to get rich quick and get poor quick you can play in the crypto market but for safe investment you can go to the stock market, both are completely different each has its advantages and disadvantages

That's why small investors should not lose the moment. Whales work very smart and always take advantage of market conditions. Meanwhile, what I see from the movement of small investors they only follow the bull market and do not try to take advantage of the bear market. In fact, one of the things that makes us profitable is buying when a bear market occurs. But it is not purely out of ignorance, sometimes most small investors are too overwhelmed by excessive fear and limited capital so that their movement is not very free.
They are smart and that's why they become whales. To be honest, I can't see many threads lately "is it the right time to buy Bitcoin" but when Bitcoin starts the green market then many threads will open like this. Because due to fear of loss small investors worried about their capital and this is a big mistake not taking risks.

I think one important factor to indicate is that the stock market is heavily regulated- where you can only trade at specific hours and tax becomes a factor to your earnings. Whereas in BTC, the latter is more volatile and no government or any entity has absolute and full control over its supply. While whales do exist in order to manipulate the price, it isn't as destructive when large conglomerates decide to manipulate the prices in stock market, thereby creating this "inside trading" scheme.

Though BTC has been in the bear market for a while, remember that the halving will happen in 2024, which is relatively near. Stock up your BTCs and HODL for long-term for maximum profit and gains.

obviously the two are very different.
If the stock market loses 50% people will sell their homes to recover the losses. But if the cryptocurrency market goes down 50% people will sell their house to buy bitcoin or some crypto which they think is very profitable in the future.
and the cryptocurrency market differs from the stock market in that it is much less regulated, whereas there are no rules or regulations governing how it works, which means that anyone can buy and sell cryptocurrencies as they please.
it also means that the cryptocurrency market is much more volatile than the stock market because prices can go up and down very quickly, and this is the beauty that investors especially whales can take advantage of.

The US was in a bull market for a long time, it's getting closer to being a bear market as it's strained under bearish conditions at the moment due to unrest in a lot of places (such as Russia's border moving closer to Nato - in both ways).

It's often said in crypto that it's easy to make money in a bull market and as easy to lose it in a bear (which is likely true). The difference with stock markets is that they're international and there's always a bull market out there (even if not with shares than with forex which has most pairs in both directions).

The main trading blocks the US fed focuses on seem to be US, EU, UK and Asia, one of those is often bullish while the others are bearish unless an international event happens like the last 2008 financial crisis - in which case a lot of areas of commodities like gold, land and food start to enter bull markets instead as money that's able to be withdrawn needs to go somewhere providing the rate is good.
