Cloudbet have mixed feedback from genuine customers, for this reason I’d be inclined not to play with them.
With a new takeover though it’s one of two things.

1.) Genuine investor took them over - In this case maybe they deserve a chance
2.) They just changed their name to start from scratch, avoid taxes idk

I’d rather not risk my money finding out.

Cloudbet is no longer active on the forum at all, so they are probably busy with other things.

It has been confirmed from several sources that Cloudbet did take over BetVIP, and I don't know why do you say Cloudbet is not active in forum anymore, because I saw them online and posting few days ago. Smiley
Here is Cloudbet profile:

Cloudbet has made 3 posts in the last 30 days. That was the same as inactive to me. Technically spoken, you are right  Wink
Incidentally, I do not think that they will go into specific matters in terms of content. They are busy with their new or sister site.

That is a good source of information that you have found. The name of Cloudbet has taken a lot of damage here in the gambling industry. A lot of bad things have been going around about it too.
I don't know if it's all true, we'll leave that in the middle. But what do you do if you no longer have a good reputation and still want to keep going in business?
It would indeed be a very loigsch story if you then take over a site and continue business there. Cloudbet is no longer active on the forum at all, so they are probably busy with other things.

BetVIP claimed they are world’s first licensed Bitcoin sportsbook, founded in 2014 but they quickly closed their business in Friday 12th June, and it seems that Cloudbet take them over.

To all our users

The shareholders of BetVIP have decided to suspend trading of the business as of Friday 12th June.  Due to the early nature of Bitcoin sports betting and an increasingly restrictive legal environment, BetVIP was unable to reach a viable revenue in order to make it feasible to continue operating the business going forward.

All withdrawal requests will be honored and paid.  Please lodge your request to [email protected] with subject ‘Withdrawal Request’.  Please lodge your withdrawal request before 28 of June 2015 and any payments will be authorised at the latest by 30 June 2015.

Regards
BetVIP

I don't know who controls their Bitcoin wallet (Cloudbet maybe) but few days ago this address received 100 BTC after one whale moved 21,446 BTC and sent them to 3 adresses:

Owner for one address was identified as BetVIP, and it has been very active in this year:

So now everyone's accounts have been transferred to Cloudbet, with whom I've had an account for over a year but Cloudbet tell me my amount owed by Betvip is zero as my total did not cover a bonus work through!
That has to be absolute cobblers as I joined around 9 months ago with a deposit of 1 bitcoin and got a 100% bonus with terms and conditions that it had to be turned over a few times. I can't recall exactly but I believe it was somewhere in the 3-5 times region.
Seeing as I used to have a couple or more bets a day ranging in stake from between 0.3 and 1.0 bitcoin  I would have done that in a few months easily!....let alone 9 months.
I even looked at how much was available to withdraw a few days before the site folded and  the figure was the whole amount that was in my account whereas in the early days it was always less than I had showing due to the bonus work through.
I've now had to email and request my betting record to try to sort it all out.
So far of course,  I've heard nothing back.
BetVIP have to go down as the very worst outfit to have ever run an online sportsbook.
The people responsible should be ashamed of themselves.

Have now sent TWO  requests  for my betting history as it says on the front page at www.betvip.com so that I can prove they are holding back my bitcoin wrongly........of course I have had nothing back yet.
What a fucking bunch of useless bastards.
