Told me gave this info to channel subscribers and then took me through the whole process to sign up. Back and forth with screen prints, and I invested 100 dollars, the minimum. After the 36 hours sure enough I got 5% return.

this is still an incredible phenomenon to me.
people trust a complete stranger from the internet, he says nice words to them and helps with some trivial things like sign-up and that is enough to gain trust and send him money.
of course, after the irretrievable loss of money, some research is done and help is sought here.

Also, what about  binance, I want to get into crypto and they seem legit?

Binance is good for learning and getting started (provided you welcome the KYC policy), but there have been hundreds of fake websites claiming to be part of the company.

For your information, Binance has a dedicated verifier page https://www.binance.com/en/official-verification, all official binance sites and social media will be verified. And whatever Binance offers through social media posts, it should also be found on the verified page.

Sorry for your loss.

bi-finance.tech is a scam.

They have written on their website they are in the market since 2018

Quote
bi-finance.tech is an advanced investment platform based in Jurong, Singapore. It was established February 2018. We are strictly into bitcoin mining and investment
In their "about us" they even have  a completely different story  Grin

bi-finance.tech is an advanced investment platform based in London. Our latest technologies of mining together with the fact that we are the only miner that produces its own mining machine with the hybrid technology, it was created to become one of the largest providers of computational power for mining bitcoins and all major cryptocurrencies

The website is just 2 weeks old, but they claim this;

Decided to try bi-finance.tech with a minimum investment. I've looked everywhere and find nothing about whether it is a scam. Anyone know about this investment company? Thanks.

My suggestion to OP is; Don't even buy the minimum package if you don't want to lose your money.

@MRFurian, if I may suggest you 'please' avoid with exchange site bi-finance.tech, there are some oddities I see, especially regarding their social media.

From the data I see.
https://www.bi-finance.tech/#

Clumsiness.
1. Telegram: cannot be accessed.
2. Twitter/Facebook: also cannot be accessed.
3. YouTube, the same cannot be accessed.

Only: WhatsApp can be accessed.

This is a sign, they are trying to trick users only through WhatsApp.

As far as I know honest exchange is active via YouTube broadcasts, Telegram Twitter and Facebook, unlike bi-finance.tech, I'm sure anyone dealing with bi-finance.tech services can end up in disaster.

Thye are using the Binance logo to deceive people that they are affiliated with Binance which is not, this is a big warning sign already they offer 5% 36 HOURS / 10% 48 HOURS, its unsustainable not even a bank can give you this kind of interest if they have an announcement here they will tag and flagged, avoid this kind of investment site, especially those newly launches.

reinvested and was off and rolling. But when I tried to withdraw a few days later they said I could only withdraw once in the beginner plan ($100 - $5000), but the other plans I could withdraw all the time.
A while ago, there was an intense promotion of "PI" Ponzi scheme, so I think these scammers are trying to get free visits by taking advantage of the popularity of that scam currency project.

Mostly, these scammers are lazy, try to get more information from them, for example, tell them you want to withdraw and pay to them directly, or you have a balance in Binance and you need Binance ID account to send it to them.

I guess it's called a "bot", anyway I posted a comment to a video on a youtube channel relating to finances. There was a reply saying.....

Was their username highlighted in their reply? if not, then it isn't from the channel account.

But even if the reply is actually from the channel account, it doesn't mean it should be trusted as hacking youtube accounts to conduct scams are pretty rampant and there are channels who are already malicious from the very start. Best to not entertain any strangers coming to you to talk about money, it is most of the time a scam attempt. You know what they say, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

As a last resort, you can try to come up with a little story to make them feel a reinvestment is possible when funds are released, who knows maybe they're dumb enough to bite lol.

Thanks to all for showing the light!

I guess it's called a "bot", anyway I posted a comment to a video on a youtube channel relating to finances. There was a reply saying "I'm glad you liked my video, go to my whatsapp #" .  So I fell for it thinking it really was the guy from the channel wanting to talk to me, the replyer even had the guy's picture as avatar. Told me gave this info to channel subscribers and then took me through the whole process to sign up. Back and forth with screen prints, and I invested 100 dollars, the minimum. After the 36 hours sure enough I got 5% return. Then showed how to withdraw and that went fine, then reinvested and was off and rolling. But when I tried to withdraw a few days later they said I could only withdraw once in the beginner plan ($100 - $5000), but the other plans I could withdraw all the time. Well, that's when I asked the whatsapp person if they really were "so and so" from the youtube and they said "yeah man it's me." Then I said send me a video to prove it, they got upset, no video and I deleted/blocked them. Then I found this forum and you all gave me the truth. Again thanks to all.
Yeah, most newbie fall for it, you can find these scammers in most social media websites' comments and PM's particularly:
Facebook and youtube - comment sections for investments
Youtube How to vids - comment sections for how to hack crypto wallets, any kind of tricks to crypto investments.
Intagram's - investment in DMs
Twitter - tweets/retweets for scam giveaways and DM's for investments.

Targets are newbie asking questions that's why you need avoid them unless some are legitimately asking questions,  as long as its investments related - AVOID.

Talking about investments, well, actually there are still legit websites, but they are not that profitable as what other are expecting. I'm talking to crypto/bitcoin casinos investments. Although, I don't know if what new casinos are currently offering investment on their sites I only knew yolodice and bustadice as found on this thread[1]

So you can able to withdraw but only once which is obvious that the scammer is trying to attract you with profit to push yourself again to invest.
There is no investment site where you can actually earn money almost investment sites and cloud mining sites are 99% scams.

Don't trust anyone if you only found that guy in youtube comments and want to talk to you through other contacts outside youtube it's obvious that he has a plan for you. Since you already have an account here on the forum always ask here if you found another site that you don't know so that other users here will give advice and tell you if the site is legit or a scam.

The website is using binance logo. Saw an investment package daily/hourly rate, obviously a scam.

Btw where did you find this new website? I'm always curious how newbies found these kind of websites.

So I shouldn't even try to get my money back, just write it off and delete the account?
The website is made to scam, it's  useless to talk to them now. Just charge to experience.

Also, what about  binance, I want to get into crypto and they seem legit?

Again thank you very much for responding.
Binance[1] is an exchange, where trading happens. If you don't have any idea how to trade better to research first, make it a habit to avoid this kind of incidents.

They ask KYC, your personal information, if you dont like the idea, you can use kucoin[2] instead, you can use them and withdraw as long it will not exceed 1 bitcoin.

Also, don't leave your crypto in an exchange for very long time. withdraw it to your wallet such as electrum, mycelium, trust wallet for alts, these are non-custodial wallets.Exchange should be used only for trading (spot, future, margin, p2p), avoid their other features if necessary.

That's the official link for binance. They've got an academy and if you want to learn about it, you can read materials there too.

Binance is really legit and that's why there are scammers that are trying to copy the domain in trying to mislead the beginners like you.

There's no shame in falling for a scam once. Yeah, it sucks but you can learn from it that will definitely help with further navigating this cesspool we call crypto Smiley Binance is legit as can get here, I have been dealing with them for some time now and had no issues. That doesn't mean they are immune to outside attacks be it money or data, and there's always that lingering cloud over our heads that any of them could, at any time turn out to be the next Mt. Gox.
