If she adds BTC as a payment, she will definitely win some new customers. If she keeps those acquired BTC, she might be a millionaire Smiley

As above posts say, better keep both payment methods.

It's a good thing when people have multiple payment options to choose from.

Bitcoin has many advantages that Paypal simply can't offer. Great addition for each shop, service, site.

Its not a good strategy to replace the payment method, but to simply add bitcoins. Its because, not everyone has bitcoins,
and those who do would probably love using it to buy something. You friend will learn about bitcoins too Smiley So its a win-win for both.

Knowledge its everything
First, she should keep both payment method. Not everyone want to pay with bitcoin.
Second, she need to prepare herself because bitcoin price is unstable.
Third, she need to accept if she don't get profit because bitcoin price is down
Forth, she need to prepare the payment system. Manual/Automatic (Bitpay/other)
Last, she have to accept if the user asked for an escrow.

Anyway, it's good idea to use bitcoin as payment method

If she already has business in Paypal you should go dual, there will be some who deal in Bitcoin because they hate the chargebacks and so on but other customers won't care about that, if Bitcoin customers are that worried about being scammed then they can just deal in Bitcoin only with her. I agree paypal is shit I'm very reluctantly using Etsy, but the fact is people are used to these and will be more willing to buy from you if you list it on your site. Bitcoin itself though is an excellent choice especially for merchants, I am pretty biased because I love it Tongue but merchants can't have their payments reversed on them by people and you can also use the blockchain to verify if money has been sent and so on.

Here's an example of the blockchain in action with the signature payments I've received, customers can just type in their address and post it online, then everyone will know if they've sent the money or not, so it's like a receipt or as others call it a public ledger but it's all in the blockchain and done automatically.

One of the most immediate benefits though would be if she had any international customers it would cut out a lot of the costs involved with dealing with Paypal and you would no longer be restricted in who you can and can't receive money from which would expand her business.

you cannot estimate profits based on payment change unless you know your customer base very well and their preferred method of payment. and even then it will be only a guesstimate.

generally it is not a good idea to completely change payment methods unless we are talking about credit card processors, so as above posters said it is good to offer various payment methods. that way people can choose their convenient method to pay with.

She should keep both. This will help her get additional customers who may prefer Bitcoin.
Right now moving solely to a Bitcoin based payment is not advisable.

Yeah that's right if she directly only use bitcoin as payment maybe her costumer will lost because they afraid will being scammed LOL.
bitcoin is better than paypal but suggest her to use both as payment. Good luck Cheesy
