Bitcoin should not have correlation with the traditional market but that is what we just sow last week because of fear and greed. I did not see any reason why bitcoin should be falling because other traditions instruments are falling! I am among those that believe that bitcoin is created for the time like this and if it makes correlation with stocks and commodities then it means we have not really understand it.

Looking at the regression coefficient it seems that for ~ 60% of the time the crypto market was independent from the traditional market but for ~ 40% of the time there seemed to be an inverse correlation, similar to what's being shown by @cryptoruby, and so the risks of assuming this inverse relationship are still quite high as this could change any minute and thus won't put my money on the line.
