I don't see any rules that, services board is Bitcoin only? Just be upfront in how you gonna pay. I don't see any problem with it.
It is mentioned on https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-list-of-official-bitcointalkorg-rules-guidelines-faq-703657. And even if there's no explicit rule about it, I think it is implied since there is another board called Marketplace (Altcoins).

By the way, why do you want to use such tokens on ETH network? Bitcoin transaction fees these days are usually lesser than the ETH network which is more or less remain congested due to DeFi transactions.
Probably for quicker confirmations or flexibility if he wants to play on DeFi after doing his business.

After a quick look on some threads, it looks like some people also allows payments in altcoins. And since wBTC is an altcoin, why not? As long as both parties agree to transact with wBTC then there's really no problem with it. I mean, you could even transact using crappy altcoins if you want and I wouldn't care as I'm not involved anyway.

I have seen threads getting trashed or moved to Marketplace (Altcoins ) section or its sub-sections if threads are offering or seeking services only in altcoins. Threads are allowed in 'Service' section if part-payments are in altcoins. At least some part of the payment has to be in bitcoin to qualify for the service section.

Are we allowed to pay in services section with bitcoin wrapped ethereum. for example: wbtc or renbtc

if anything it should be doubly prohibited to use altcoins that are stealing the bitcoin name and have the potential of fooling newcomers into thinking they have any sort of relationship with bitcoin. that includes any altcoin that contains the name or any token and it shouldn't be limited to the services board in my opinion.

The main Bitcoin sections are primarily Bitcoin related, and therefore its best to buy, sell, and trade with Bitcoin within these sections. If you would like to receive alternate coins for a service, or buy something with altcoins, you can make a post within the altcoin section too. This is pretty much accurate in every instance, including discussion based posts, and isn't just limited to trading.

It's not allowed. All the tokens you have mentioned above run on Ethereum which is an alternate cryptocurrency. So it doesn't matter if the token or coin has a name btc on it or not. It's still not bitcoin but rather an alternate cryptocurrency.

Since it's claimed than wbtc or Renbtc are 1:1 matched to BTC. Why not just convert the wrapped btc to the real bitcoin and then pay for whatever service you want in the service board?
