Where does bitcoin go from here ? Will it recover? Are we out of the bear market and into the bull market ?
Yes, I think that bitcoin is doing great for the past 3 days where it is maintaining a green mark and would hope that this will continue to hit towards the $10K market price at the end of this month. This is actually a great improvement for the cryptocurrency market since people are doing great with their investments and would suggest to hold more time until the increase may reached to a satisfactory level where they may sell the coins and earn good profit.
Bitcoin is improving this is a good sign. For those who are investors i suggest that you hold more because it i will rise more and that then you can sell and has a better profit. Now is not the best time to sell.

The bullish movement is yet to commence and no one can tell when exactly the train will start movement and i believe that so many people will miss the opportunity of buying at current market value of Bitcoin and other altcoins because they think that its values will continue to depreciate further not knowing that it has reach the minimum level.

Volume's are so low across the board and I'm really unsure as to how to interpret it. The logical part of me tells me that we can't have an extended bear market like in 2014/15 because of how much stronger bitcoin is now and how well known it is, also because there wasn't such a huge event to trigger the crash. BUT I cannot say with certainty that will be the case. If I was offered right now that the price at the end of April would be $8000 then I would take it because this sideways movement is good consolidation and will build support and confidence. Any scenario right now which sees bitcoin holding ground is a good one.

Basically, we can only hope for that, unless and until it really happens or it starts to happen, nothing can be confirmed. I guess as the previous years, Q3 and Q4 and specially November and December were really a good bull run. So to see if it happens again we have to wait. Nothing can be said right now, whatever people are saying is just hope, speculation helping themselves to keep calm.

Legend has it that everytime bitcoin goes down, it always rises back for even much stronger push. As we can see on the crisis lately, bitcoin has made a quick spike after it recorded it's lowest market price for this year. But since the bearish pattern stays within us for so long, so i expect that long bull run is about to happen soon.
Well this time are different situation, the drop caused by the correction from the previous crazy move. People are indeed building something to push the price , unfortunately it didn't work every time they try due how strong hands always prefer to go for selling instead help buying.

Everyone is really calling out the bull run however, it doesn't look that we are heading for one right now. I thought that when we go above $11K that its the massive bull run the everyone is really hoping for, but it didn't happened.

But if we are really preparing for one then why not buy at this dip? And its this bull run occurs in the next couple of months then at least it will be a winning situation. So instead of waiting, purchase now and wait later and took profits when this bull run occurs. We make things complicated here, but if you will just used common sense and thinking long term, no need to wait for the herds to come, just get in while its at a discount, and let they do their thing.
I guess everyone is just trying to be optimistic and at least have something to hope for. The market has been pretty volatile for a while and we cannot really know how things would end up fashioning out but one thing I have come to know is that one way or the other market always recovers.

It may take a long time, but at the end, it still does and even gets bigger. We may consolidate throughout this year, bulls may take over, we may even go lower, but only time will tell.

You have to take a look in the price of one year ago.

Bitcoin was $1060 in this same day, last year.

There was a steady rise from January to March, with a fall in mid-March. However, the price quickly recovered.

The chart from this year is very different. Its a steady fall with bull traps, resembling a sideline movement. So, bear market is all that is.

Where does bitcoin go from here ? Will it recover? Are we out of the bear market and into the bull market ?

Yes, Bitcoin is preparing fr the bull run but it is getting the base strong by trending a stable price for a couple of months. Experts predicted around $60000 by July but I predict personally around $80000 in December 2nd week. The current trend of Bitcoin is actually a health one with just 10% ups and downs moving in price, we can expect a good price before this year end.

$60,000 was a tough call especially in July which means few months from now. But December price will really be interesting as there were many times already that bitcoin exceeded expectations.
That value is even a tough call for this year, let alone July. The fact is that, bitcoin may not really have that much movement this year and even though we may say no one knows what the future holds, but with all the fundamentals, we may just see some year of accumulation as we move on for this year. Who knows ? We may not even be able to hit that previous ATH before this year ends.

Anything can change anytime though, still all these are based on the present moment. We cannot do anything about those at present times except preparing with more holding. Keep buying on dips is the only strategy I do follow as of now.

Heres a break of a short term downtrend, its possible for the price to be consolidating here.     I see people are generally bearish and apprehensive which is a great setting for a future bull run.   I have more fear when people are far too positive and one sided in favour of BTC.

Generally we are below a 200 day moving average and thats a target for upside at around 9000.   Its a moving target and the situation is not static

We all hope this. It seems a bit difficult for the moment, and if a new bad news spreads, Bitcoin will dump a little bit more. And, panic sales are also affecting Bitcoin, because beginners are looking at the market situation, losing themselves, and they think that they will lose money, so they sell everything.
We are still uncertain about bitcoin getting  another price hike because based from what we can see the price keeps on getting low and it looks like the market is still gonna be on red because of the holidays.  But here is something for sure,  no one exactly knows what will happen in bitcoin and in its price.  We can only make predictions that can be about positivity or negativity,  what important is to remain calm so we won't be doing any bad decision for our portfolio.
Who knows? Last years pump were unpredictable, it might happen again but as long as all this fuss present it might be harder to do the run, we will be needing more time.
Yes, well said. Nothing is predictable. We all predicted the possibility of seeing $5000 before the end of December last year, back in January, and then we just keep hitting it, on and on and on until we got to the previous ATH at $19800.

Moreover, this is totally a typical market and something can just change within a split of second and for the fact that it is uncontrolled and highly volatile, we just have to wait and see how events unfold. As for now though, things do not really seem more like any serious movement will be taking place.

If the price doesn't fall any lower, I still think it is possible, the daily sma 50 is touching the daily sma 200.
It really is a toss-up if you ask me --> bouncing or crossing
we're seeing higer lows since 05/02, price swings are getting less volatile,...

As what others might be thinking from these bloody days, bitcoin is preparing for yet another bull run. The only question that remains in me is the duration of these bloody days because others might not be able to hold on anymore.

There are people waiting to dump it again like spreading fuds, well recovery from $10k might be getting harder and harder every time bitcoin falls under $9k. Lot of people are saying april could be the start of the bull run, well i hope they were right Smiley
Well, let them dump, then we will buy as they keep dumping. The market has been in a huge correction and we cannot expect it to just keep moving up and up just like that without some accumulation. No one can say exactly how everything will end up turning out but at least we can keep hoping that everything will turn out to be fine very soon. With the optimism going on in the market, I really do not know why we are still hanging somehow now.

Are we out of the bear market and into the bull market ?
There cannot be an exact answer for this from my side until $19800 is broken and a new ATH will be set. Yes, beating previous high could an obvious symptom to conclude about the end of bearish market.

I hope so, this bearish cycle has gone too long. Hoping for a strong reversal sign to get back confidence. It is inevitable that bitcoin goes up now or in a few months, patients is key.
Well, everyone hoping, now that the market still not that pretty exciting. Try to do more activities. Learn its cycle and do some sidelines so you can buy at this dips and join the bull ride soon.

Zoom out and watch. The price is consolidating, we will retest the long term resistance line and we'll start a the new bull run for the summer.

We have TONS of idiots that got in during the big $20k bubble which we need to get rid off. Once only true believers are left we'll stabilize, then everyone else that is stupid enough to not own bitcoin yet will (once again) FOMO back in into the market for X reasons, most likely trade wars, QE and other shenanigans which will make BTC the obvious place to be. Also lightning network is coming and in 1 to 2 years you'll be able to use Bitcoin to buy anything you want instantly and free. Anyone not holding at least 1 BTC by now has brain for bricks.

No it's not pal. Look at the price now it seems to decrease more 'cause as we noticed on this day there's no green on its fluctuation always red tagged .so perhaps it will continue to plunges back to 7k value. And those uptrend we experience last few days is just a mini bull run.

The price of bitcoin has seriously affected the entire cryptoverse, which means when bitcoin will be taking off to the moon, all other alts will be along side the trip. Bitcoin will rise again to gain new nights breaking new peaks.
Not all of us have a good insight for cryptomarket, some people says crypto will die and other says it will bounce back again. Those people who won't believe bitcoin's capability it surely they are now leaving and they are just trying to convince others too. Most probably they are the one to be blame causing it's quick dump of market price.

We cannot really predict the exact time of the rising of the bitcoin price. I believe that it will rise at the end of this year 2018. I think this is now the right time to to invest into it, and maybe wait till the year end. Maybe the dumping of the bitcoin price today is really a preparation of its huge pump. Some expert said that bitcoin can really rise at the end of this year for some basis I believe on it maybe this year will really like the year 2017 at the end of 2017 the bitcoin price really rise.

This is fake, they are just fake news trying to make the price go down, there are no signals and proofs that they will start selling those thousads of bitcoins.

So no, for me, it is totally fake after all, there is nothing to be  worried about.

Somebody posted that mt.gox is again selling 7000btc. So expect bearish market the next week. There will be no sign of bulls.  After the holy week bulls are awake again, it will be the start of bull market.

Is there really a man of a normal market decline again, I think that this trend will continue until the end of the year, as it starts to drain huge volumes of coins. This is not good.

Its Bottom Line is a very difficult bitcoin to leave this bear market. I do not know what's going on with the current situation, a situation that makes some bitcoin holders panicked. Hopefully Be back soon to his path and soon meet the bull market in the near future. We just need to stabilize the price first in the $ 10,000 figure

Bitcoin will go on the road it must go: one is bullish, the other is crash. There are two different opinions in the media:
1. People in the public sector warned not to participate in bitcoin because of the huge risks. Even on facebook also banned ads or post related issues to entice bitcoin participants.

I wouldn't be surprised by such warning from media, they are like sort of attacking crypto as well and creating a lot of fakes news just to get clickbait and in a sense affected the price. And then most social media banning ads also put pressure on the price as well.

2. Business people recommend that if you want to get rich quick, invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin offers high interest rates without any banks paying interest.

Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme, if they think it is then, they will be burned easily.

As for the bull run, I can't see it happening because of the constant FUD, and attacks. The only way it can go into a bull run is a positive news that will really make a lot of hype on crypto, but it seems we still haven't found one yet.

Instead of people hoping for a bull run that won't happen, focus at least on the market to remain near the $10,000 level for a longer while. I think after the massive bull run that we experienced last year, it's safe to say that people have been spoiled enough already. People's expectations because of last year's bull run have become so unrealistic, that they can only disappoint, which is the hard reality. If their expectations aren't met, which is going to happen for sure, people blame Bitcoin's market for being manipulated, etc. People always blame everything beside themselves for their own stupidity.
Lol. I like where you said people have been spoiled already and really there is nothing more I would love than seeing us getting to $10000 and just consolidating for a while which is what I am really hoping for right now anyway.

I believe just like you that a lot of people have so gotten greedy that they feel everyday should be Christmas and expecting bull run every single minute. If it were to be like that, I personally will be scared, but it is what it is anyway, we cannot change people's mentality towards being greedy and blaming everyone for everything.

From a traders point of view bitcoin is still not have a good performance for the past following weeks, for the last 3 months the price drops from 20,000 USD down to 8000 USD this week and that is a 12,000 USD difference almost 50 percent price decline. Let's see about the outcome of G20 summit regarding the regulation of cryptocurrencies and ICOs if it could really affect again the  price of bitcoin. There are still 9 months to go to recover the bitcoin price back to 20k again, the same performance last year or could it be better this year.
Many traders and holders are still in profit from last years pump, if they invested at this month last year or earlier since the chart really goes that high, no need to be too alarmed on what is happening in crypto for it can recover especially if there's no fud around.

Not all, those we have bought bitcoin at the top price is already burned and murdered in the last 3 months and they are the one who decided to get out and just suffer a lost. For those who didn't sell during the peak of December and continue to hold may have also offload some of their stash. But for most of us who really took home big profits has somewhat get back at the market, slowly, just buying in dips. Personally, I'm not shaken with all the crash or price correction, I'm not saying that I'm immune, but I know that we can still recovered and the bullrun that we all have been waiting is just around the corner.

We're not pretty sure for that since we have an unpredictable market today.  A lot of factors that can affect it's trend,  even we have a desires to have a bullish run again. We have to accept the reality that this is the real life of crypto, the more it's stays for us the more it's getting volatile.
it is impossible to predict the market if you see a situation like this, hopefully our future will be better. many people expect the bullish movement in the near future and soon leave the bear market.

There are people waiting to dump it again like spreading fuds, well recovery from $10k might be getting harder and harder every time bitcoin falls under $9k. Lot of people are saying april could be the start of the bull run, well i hope they were right Smiley

You have really observed that the $10,000 has been a difficult task to surmount after it dropped from hitting $11,000 3weeks ago. Since then, it is a difficult run. I think there is a resistance around $10,000 that needs to be broken down totally.

If we really unto bitcoins we might gonna observe on whats happening unto the price of bitcoins but its to hard for now to broke the $10,000 and maybe on next month since its nearly to come. But expect for the fuds to subside since new month will bring us another great aspect with bitcoins remember the one slowly spreading is positive side right now.

You have really observed that the $10,000 has been a difficult task to surmount after it dropped from hitting $11,000 3weeks ago. Since then, it is a difficult run. I think there is a resistance around $10,000 that needs to be broken down totally.

Now the price of bitcoin is increased like a bull running in a farm field. The price of bitcoin will reach 11,000$ by the end of this month. And it was expected to reach to 35,000 by the end of the year.So I think 8500$ is very low to get into bitcoin.

It's high time for us to invest into bitcoin right now in order to earn profit from the bull run which will start shortly in couple of months. I will not exchange my mined bitcoin's until the bull run so that I do not regret as well.

Can you share the source of your forecasts? The fact is that such numbers are called very often, but no one gives evidence, Why Bitcoin will grow to 35,000 dollars the end of the year. There is an opinion that the market drop in this condition will be the whole year.

We are just about to end Q1 2018 and most of the technical analysis out there are saying we are on a bearish mode, which I think is the reason why we should buy more BTC during these dips. If you could look at all the news today about crypto, we're seeing a lot of corporations recognizing the blockchain and I think this will be the fuel for another take off within Q2.
The blockchain is not bitcoin. I can't figure out what the connection is? Corporations can use this system to exchange data, but this does not mean that they will accept bitcoin to pay for their goods. Some governments want to create their own cryptocurrency, but at the same time they oppose the use of bitcoins in their country.

Where does bitcoin go from here ? Will it recover? Are we out of the bear market and into the bull market ?
From all indication bitcoin will take a longer time and strong positive news before it will move out of $6000 to $9000 rang, so I can't completely say that we are out of the above region yet. But we all hope that positive news should start coming into the crypto world to encourage buyers and more investors.

Well, bitcoin isn't like those stocks or altcoins that go down in value and never come up again ever, it's completely different from others as it's value is ever increasing and it does fall low periodically for a short period of time but then again it plunges up and even crossed its previous ATH. And what I have seen in the past years, bitcoin's price have reached the level where it will remain for a few weeks to maximum few months and then will strike back up after that incubation period.

You didn't see that big fat DEATH CROSS in the charts?
It even failed to close above the 200 day.

This is quite the opposite of bullish, basically guarantees we will revisit $6000-3500 within a few days.

what you say LOL
I think we will soon leave the bear market and will soon bull run, the price will Be Back Later on the way it should be. hope I hope this situation will recover quickly and we will not hear again FUD that increase.

it is impossible to say for sure but here are the facts at hand:
1. the drop was because of pure manipulation not because of fundamentals. for example the drop from $20,000 down to $15000 was a logical correction after a bubble and that was perfectly justified. but this drop from $9500 down to $7300 was not.
It was all caused by negative market sentiment, people tend to forget that before this mad bull run when BTC reached $ 20kwe never crossed 10k before.

2. there were a lot of FUDs that helped with the drop. and FUD is not something that can last long.
This is right, however, we may see another kind of FUD distributed in portions, so people would be always fed with some sort of FUD.
It might cause the price to never go higher unless we will see some countermeasure in the form of solid positive news.

when all those popular social media and exchanges get done on banning and realize that crypto is the newest hit technology that will help their supporters, then that's the only time FuD will be out of the seen or be lessen, for now, we need to endure it.

The price of bitcoin will rise in any news. Any news coming up with people and they do it for their own purposes. Bitcoin reacts not to the news but to the actions of whales. The bad news is trying to explain to us why we should sell them our coins cheap. I don't believe that. Bitcoin can't stop growing and it's only a matter of time. I have this time and I will wait.

All will come back again well, and soon the price will get better with the price going up to higher to the moon.
I so much believe in this as well and I believe that as time goes on, we will be back testing the previous ATH. No one can absolutely give any guaranty to anything happen as it is now, but we still have to keep up with the hope and believe that everything is going to turn out fine at the end. For now, we are just in an easy movement with no stress and contemplating where to go.

Most probably bitcoin must be getting ready for another bull rally. We all must prepare ourselves because we are about to go to the moon. Honestly, no one can know anything but it seems the bulls are revving up and trying their best to get the market back in shape. We cannot say how long this is going to happen but we just have to be very optimistic and wait for it. Honestly, we all want a bull run to happen, but it is not that easy after a very long drop in the market value.

Perhaps no,  look at the market now the price now is gradually decreasing again which is from $9600 to $8600 and it's looks like not a normal correction and for sure if this scenario continue to happen the price will drop back again to 7k.  I'm not trying to intimidate others I'm just saying there's a tend  but not really sure 'cause base on it's performance nowaday it seems the dump is more than pump.

No one knows what will actually happen to bitcoin price now, it may continue to decrease or it may bull run to its highest price with in this year hopefully. This is really hard for us to predict what will actually happen, because of it's unpredictable characteristics.

We’re more of into an stable market at $8000. We’re swinging on price with little margin or percentage of increases and decreases. We have passed the bear market right now and yet we’re not in a bullish market also, but it’s preparing for a new run in few weeks within this month or after. Bitcoin price will have no choice, it’s only pointing up.

It will probably not be a huge rally up to a new all time high or anything like that. But yes, we are out of the bear market and is currently trying to test the $9.5k level, and if that is broken then we can safely say we will go to $10k+ in a very short amount of time.

But is that going to result in a bull run?

It sure looks unlikely with the 2 failed pushes earlier on in the year to break out. It seems clear to me that we'll encounter much more sideways consolidation rather than any major pumps this year. I'd place the ceiling at around $13k for this rally, still a pretty good profit to be made on speculation but probably not as much as last year for sure.

If you ask me, I will answer with two answer

1. My expectations, in the coming days bitcoin will find the bull market, where the price will rise back even more than $ 20,000.

2. Reality, now a lot of new regulations are coming against cryptocurrency. Like the latest information google will ban ads related cryptocurrency and this I am sure will give a big effect on the decrease in the price of cryptocurrency. and the bull market is just a wish.

Why do you want Bitcoin dying? There are several altcoins based on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is still here. There are several GNU/Linux based on Debian and Debian is still here rocking solid. And we are currently in a period quite volatile, I watched BCC it's just horrible lol. In the following weeks Bitcoin will show its true power and everyone will recognize it as the super power

We still need strong signal before we can say it but I hope its the start of a great bull run. In the past days bitcoin moves a lot upward, and some good news that really make investors to come back. Its another bull run or just a hype run, we will see this next week.

Exactly, still, bitcoin it is at $9000 only how can we simply call it as bull run. Still, there is the long way to reach the higher price, in the crypto market we can see there is huge price pump in short period of time but bitcoin is not in that position at the moment.

Sort of. Did you loaded yourself when it was around $6,000? No more FUDs or there still might be some that will exist but they can't break what's the impact of the statement after the G20 conference. Wherever we are heading right now I'm always positive that the bloody days will no last long.

3. the recovery from the bottom has been a very nice and solid one. we had an accumulation around $8100 then a test of buy support where price went 10% lower because of all the FUD and manipulation and we had a jump up back to $8k levels and a solid rise to $9000+ and it has not stopped.

now if the price continues up and goes back to the previous channel between $9.5k and $12k then you can say we are back to the previous state and officially out of bear market but not yet a bull one. and we will test the $12k resistance soon and if that breaks then you can call it a bull run then.

The question is that are we not in another bull trap? We have seen similar incidence from the past that we thought that we are out of the woods but suddenly dumping occurs and the eventual domino effect of panic selling.
Yeah that's the same thing I was wondering, we have seems far too many bull traps in past few weeks. Wouldn't be too surprised if this is also one. I think G20 summit will have an effect of this, if it becomes a bull run or a bull trap.

I think so. This last 3 days was a good sign that we are at least heading to test the $10K price at the end of the week so I guess we can call it a bull run already.

The question is that are we not in another bull trap? We have seen similar incidence from the past that we thought that we are out of the woods but suddenly dumping occurs and the eventual domino effect of panic selling.

Let's see how it pans out and do hope that this is just a start of the bull run that we all have been waiting for.
