Yes, this is a scam… in the sense that most tokens sell a stake in the future of the technology which that token represents. If you purchased SC tokens when Sia launched, you can use them to pay for hard drive space on the storage network. The SC tokens will grow in value because all users on the network will need them to pay fees on the storage network.

All Bitcoins and altcoins investment schemes and funds are scam
Such a blanket statement helps nobody. Not all alt-coins are scams. Period.

Anyways. I have been receiving SMS since morning about this new "BitJob ICO" backed by BGF. They have now supposedly "delayed it due to intense demand on the website", just to convince people that its very legit.
I don't know how they got my number. Probably they bought it off some other website as its easy to buy anything here in India.  I suppose a lot of people would be receiving these new messages and will end up losing their money in it. Sad.

The BGF drama has reached such a level that I got an SMS telling me about some BitJob ICO. Everybody knows that the Indian youth and students are desperate for jobs right now. BGF is utilizing that to come up with this scheme of investing user funds into ICOs of their choice (The ones they have supposedly vetted).

If their past record is anything to go by, this is another way to dupe people out of their hard-earned money AND give a bad name to this new technology and in turn to India (which I am more concerned about).
Please read up on them and ask the people around for stories of them being duped.

Here's a great thread started by legendary member tmfp. He did some very thorough research on these guys. His research and experience of numerous people shows that BGF and Amit Bhardwaj are not mending their ways. Anybody who has fallen for this scam, or if you know somebody, Please share your story.
Thats the only way to get the word out.
