maybe they think a lot of risk, so that they are headed in that direction.
but still rare large corporations who want to accept everything with bitcoin

It seems like they are headed in that direction. Seems like they are doing it purposely, though. They realize as these new bigger companies are accepting bitcoin they are going to be obsolete. And in a way, they seem happy about that. It shows their true belief in bitcoin. I like those guys.

Yes, that was the plan since the beginning. Glad to see they succeeded at it!

So they have the addresses of any large btc holders stupid enough to buy from them, and they move on to scamming pastures new.

Thank you to all of our customers!

It started with one goal; how can we get large retailers online to accept bitcoin one day. We figured the only way to convince these companies was to prove to them that there are customers who want to buy the same products they sell with bitcoin.

So we created a large electronics online store matching the same prices and selection as Amazon. We immediately started to see orders flowing in right after launch, and it only continued to grow. Our numbers were good enough to get distributors talking about the success of our sales and suggested to other large retailers to test bitcoin with their websites. Sure enough, bitcoin was loved, and was finally adopted by large companies like Overstock.com, Expedia, NewEgg, and many more.

Yeah, I read that, which lead me to believe that they're shutting down.  It makes me sad, I'd rather buy from them than most of the other companies listed.  I don't know for sure, but I think I saw something a while back that they keep all their sales in bitcoin rather than converting them into fiat.  The same can't be said for the other companies, which convert all (or the majority in the case of Overstock) of their bitcoin sales into fiat.

I just looked at bitcoinstore's website and instead of directly seeing the store, I saw a description with a link to a bunch of different places that accept bitcoin and then a link at the top to the "Legacy Store".  Which has me wondering if the site is planning on going out of business.  Anyone know?  It seems a bit odd for this kind of change to be made if they aren't.
