This exchange is like a scam. They have blocked my account.  I contacted support service several times but they do not respond to my requests. I do not advise trading on this exchange.

CoinMarket cap  better remove this Fucking scamming
Exchange right now

Spamming/posting about how BiteBTC stole your money won't help you. E-mail CMC instead.
I agree that they're a shady exchange though.

I almost engage in this exchange when I planning to sell my token on the said exchange site.
Damn, I am thankful that I read this thread and also known the Slow death given information, in this case, we need to choose the reputed exchange site, not just like this having shitty services, at least more than a year existence and less costumer complains.

Big oof, this is why you don't trust huge amount of monies to new/small exchanges. They could really be just using the fire incident to stall time, same thing happened with coinmarkets, though their's was a server problem.

Anything could happen really, but it doesn't change the fact that users who has their money stuck on the site has their one foot in the grave. I think we will see soon whether its really a scam or not.

High chances they are about to run away with the coins and is already preparing for an exit scam. Coinmarketcap already shows warning about users report of withdrawals being withheld. High chances they won't be getting back anything.
Sad people use this kind of shitty exchange even though there are better and well known exchanges out there.

The apartment could be a virtual address with the servers hosted elsewhere, this is for security reasons otherwise it would attract thieves. Hope it's not a scam, but could be why prices fell today

Recently we did an article on failed Proof Of Keys exchanges. One of the loudest cases were BiteBTC. They announced a fire within their data centers in Singapore, three days after it happened.
We immediately sent our reporters to Singapore to check out the situation. It appears that there was no fire recorded. Also, BiteBTC headquarters are located in an apartment building... It very much looks like an exit scam strategy.
