Don't use Bitfinex.
You're gambling not trading.

Right now im having problems with my balance.
system made dup orders and now i have -100usd with none of the coins i bought.
makes it worse cuz  i would have to pay for that 100usd before i can withdraw.
I have zero clue whats going on.  i should have just stopped trading but i didnt and .. w.e.

Frustrated with that platform. I assume all are just like that.    Ill just buy and hodl from now.

@magneto @TheQuin

First of all thank you guys for the quick responses.

In that case i will try to reach them via Twitter.

@magneto No there are no open orders. But it was actually a good idea to check that Smiley

Dear community

I bought about 4 weeks ago BCU's via bitfinex. I have read and accepted the terms and conditions which have to be read and confirmed before trading with CST's
After i bought the BCU's, i only got the half amount of the BCU's i should get. My balance sheet so had been halved. I just sold the BCU's out of panic and hoped to get my money back, which did not happen. I then wrote directly to the support, which has not answered me till now. I can't imagine that this was my fault because it was not written in the terms and conditions that you lose half of your money after you bought CST's. If this is normal and my fault please let me know.
As a conclusion i can say i'm extremly disappointed of Bitfinex. Not only because I lost half of my money (maybe because they stole it) but also because the support just lets me down for a month. I really hope that that can be clarified. Otherwise everybody should take his/hers money out of this exchanger.
If somebody can help me to clarify this because he knows what really happened, please comment, it would help me a lot.

Thank you for reading.

Sincerely
Geekex

Are you sure that your money isn't just stuck in an open order of some sort in bitfinex? Many times i've used bitfinex and accidentally had a trade done through a random click that was not intended, and it always ends up in the pending orders.

I would suggest reach them via support or social media until they respond.

They are legit, they paid back the BFX tokens to all investors. No reason why they would scam you for half your deposit.

I do not believe that Bitfinex is a scam and it is difficult to work out whether what happened to you is an execution error/bug or a misunderstanding on your part.

I know it is very frustrating not getting a timely response from support tickets but to be fair that is exactly the same on all exchanges. Bitfinex is no better or worse in that regard.

The best way I know of to speed things up is to hassle them on social media, they don't have any representatives on this forum anymore.

I do believe they are active in r/BitcoinMarkets.
