Since we have mixed reaction about this thread to avoid been a victim it's wiser you neglect the advert or go with a very little investment plan to check for your self how legit the site is then you can decide from the outcome if you would stick with them or look for an alternative
It's a thread from 2-3 years ago and I think you mistakenly bumped it.

Since some players might wonder if they are scammers or not, please DO NOT visit or deposit money into the casino because they are scammers by the looks of it.

Look at their feedback page and you will see the number of complaints against them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265

I usually want to give the benefit of the doubt to the casino but here it's pretty obvious they are scammers and this thread was before the feedback were left so I hope OP didn't get scammed by the casino.

No, they are no legit..
They had a lot of scam reports, personally i played there, made more then 30 deposits and NEVER get any single win!
I guess the RTP of slots is not legit, thats not possible that you cant get any win higher then 30 x /bet after like 10 000 spins..
Avoid them and dont get robbed like me !
Personally im playing on Mbit casino and there you have real chance to win, withdraws are fast and they dont ask for any documents..

BitStarz is a legal and reputable online casino site that has many good reviews. Regarding any bonus offers received, I always refer to the casino's promotions page to see if the offer is legit.

not sure why you are bumpin the thread , but no they are not "reputable" at least here
many users had issues with them in the past , their bonus rules are shady as was reported as well so they are good as long as you are losing but when you win you should be ready for a long time chat with their support

they may be fine but comparing them with other better sites here in the forums then there is no single reason to play with them

So I came across an email from bitstarz.com giving a deposit bonus and a spin bonus offer?

Has someone tried out the site and is the site legit? And is the promo legit too?
According to askgamblers https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/bitstarz-casino-review/ they are legit.
According to bitcointalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265 they are not.

If you choose to play there be ready for KYC, especially if you use no-deposit bonus.

Can you move this topic to gambling section?
Ask gamblers is affiliate for bitstarz, this is why ask gamblers claim that bitstarz is legit.

Ask gamblers also lie about Curacao regulation to mislead the gambling community to fall into their trap!

But bitstarz is on the Curacao licensing scam casinos list!

Better play with consumer protection service inclusive at Curacao based sites.

It is legit, but I had few problems with them when I obtained free funds through a free bonus code they gave-away.
After gambling enough to get the funds out, they refused to process my withdrawal and asked me for additional info about my-self, including ID and address, of-crouse I didn't give up on that and I gave them the info, a good thing to say about them that after giving them the info I received my funds really fast .

I remember them running a signature campaign on bitcointalk. At that time they were a very good online casino and i never had any issues with them.
I think that if they are still running the site they might still be legit. You can always try them out with smaller bets, but IMO it should be fine. I always thought that they shut down due to the market being too competitive.
Same experience on here when they was just starting and i got convinced to play because i do see their signature in the past which the service was great but when the time pass by issues already comes out luckily i had stopped on playing on the site for a long time as i have read they do have shady terms with their promotions which isnt really right at all as a gambler this would really put hesitations.

Bitstarz seem to be the same guys who own bitcoincasino and another one I was using last year because I contacted their support and received a message from the same operator using the same name. And I asked them if they are the same guy from the other site and he said yes. Embarrassed
then what is wrong if they are the same person? Have anyone ever had a problem with one of the related sites? I do not think it's a problem if they are still paying every player ,,, if maybe he still has another company yag ,, it would not be a problem I guess

I do not receive any email from bitstarz.com so I don't know but if to play in that site, you need to fill KYC, then I don't want to try in that site because for playing gambling, I think we don't have to fill any documents. maybe you can try with the other sites and I am sure that the other sites will you a chance to play many games.

It's been a long time since they have launch montly signature campaign.
AFAIK, the site is legit but for some DT member try to tell that the site is shady.
For me, it's better to gamble on trust site and I don't think bitstar is trust site !

Tried it long time ago with the free spins bonus, completed with the wagering requirement with 0.1btc left on my account but I was asked to verify identity plus make a deposit in order to withdraw my winning. Obviously I did not do it and I never tried to make deposit.
I heard there are some scam accusations against this casino, so I guess it is better to avoid this casino. There are some better casino such as bitdice and fortunejack if you are going to play slots game.

I've played there long time ago, I didn't undergo KYC or any kind of verification while I was playing there. I think they'll only ask for verification once you win a jackpot or a big amount of bitcoins. Also what promo are you going to take? I wouldn't take any promo unless the terms are clearly stated.

This is true, Bitstarz is operated by Direx N.V. they have a lot of casinos listed on askgamblers.

There was some pretty big drama about them denying a gambler a few BTC because he supposedly had multiple accounts and Botstarz used that as an excuse to take his BTC (I know Bitstarz isn't the only casino to have rules like this, though, FortuneJack also does as an example). That's as short as it gets for summarizing the negative trust that their Bitcointalk account currently has.

They seem to have changed things up a bit since then, but the only trust they've received since then was right around the end of the incident. I wouldn't take the risk personally, but it looks like they're trying to advertise again and start back up stronger to regain their trust and customer base.
