liqpay will soon be available.

Question: There is no LiqPay yet?

LiqPay would really come in handy here in Brazil (well, I used LiqPay a lot to buy from the now dead btc24)

I found out from their tech support that any change of password or email address will lock out your account for any withdrawals for 2 days.  That's why I was unable to withdraw funds.

Click Support on their site. IIRC you will need a passport or govt ID scan + utility bill to prove residency. Once you do this one time, you will not be asked to do it on future deposits. I actually liek that they like you trade immediately, but restrict withdraw until you provide the ID. That way you can't blame them for taking too long to process ID so you couldn't get coins at the price you wanted.

Read the information on their deposits page. If you haven't already sent over your ID, upon deposit you'll have to send it over because their bank requires it for anti-fraud. Once you send it over, as has been mentioned already, your account will be unlocked.

BTC-e is a good company.

Their support is excellent as well, I normally receive replies within minutes during business hours.

This is exactly what I assumed and I have no problem with it. But, please enlight me and tell me how can I do it? Write them an email with my passport scan? Where's that mysterious upload button for this?!?! Why is this not written all over the screen in capitals with a descent button and a procedure supporting this identification ?!?

I made my first trade with this bullshit BTC-E. Nothing even close to this is mentioned in terms, beside "new accounts not able to withdraw in 3 days"

I deposited EUR with international wire transfer. Bought 11 BTC, and this is what I'm getting when trying to withdraw BTC:

Money hold. 40608 min left

28 DAYS!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!

I love how btc-e quits replying when the topic gets heated... lol

and by "gets heated" I assume you mean "gets necroed after more than a year"

Yes, and no. I didn't look at the dates, but still I'm right Smiley

I personally never had problem with btc-e.
Deposit is quite fast (but i use okpay)  and no problems with withdrawal either.
I had tried to contact their support once to ask some question. I found the process a little difficult but maybe it has changed now.

The only bad critics i can give them are  that I find their website a little ugly, at least the interface could be improved , but it looks like they made some improvement recently (the paypal logo has finally vanished..is it recent or did i just notice it ?) and some part of their english interface is not very well translated (some messages are still in russian)

If you do not like the requirements, do not use btc-e!

If you make requirements like this, write it on your page -.-
In the past there where no problems with interkassa!

I never see an information about that new rule? Or can you show
it to me, where you write it?

You are changing some rules on the site, that are against the user and
dont say anything! Thats not the finest way!

This anti-fraud.
This requirement interkassa!

When this is anti-fraud, why you are releasing the money to me?
And do not wait 24 hours?

Don't you unterstand, that I have already buy BTC for the USD I deposit?
What is, when the seller will now withdraw the USD from me and
Interkassa will not release the money? Thats the biggest shit I ever heard ...

If you do not like the requirements, do not use btc-e!

That is some impressive customer service.  I think it is obvious that NOBODY should be using btc-e!

Good idea! Boycott Btc-e!

bitstamp is better anyway. and cryptsy has more options. coinbase is my personal favorite for buying bitcoin, they now have instant transactions with verification.

Not every customer is RU!
The page show for me the EN Terms and there is nothing wrote.
By the way did you change the rules without inform the users via email
or another way Wink

1. Write it down on the deposit page if you select interkassa
2. do not release the USD before the 24 hours are past so that the customer cant buy BTC for
the USD interkassa released!

AND LiqPay is aprove the payment as successful!

Why you are using interkassa and not direct liqpay?

Hi folks,

I have bought a long time from BTC-E with deposit via interkassa.
I never had any problem. I add the funds, buy BTC for it and withdraw them.

It seems, that BTC-E hase change some rules!
Today I add 500 USD (in the past over 5000 USD), buy BTC for it and
have try to withdraw them.

Error: Money hold 1422 minutes

What is this?
I ask the support via ICQ and get only the answer: Interkasse requirement
Wow, nice answer!

I say again, what I have do and that I have no problems in the past.
What I am not understanding is, I have deposit the USD and can directly buy
BTC for it. So the seller has the money at this moment.

But I cant withdraw the BTC? Where is the logic?

So now I must wait 24 Hours to withdraw my BTC.
Nice instand payment I can make. Next time I use another
Marketplace, where I can deposit via SEPA. It needs only one day and
would be faster than 24 Hours in the most time.

The second thing is, that LiqPay approve the payment! So there
is no way to cancel it -.-

Support from BTC-E is not the best!

Greetings Simon

Edit: I can withdraw nothing! Also not the old BTC amount, they block everything for 24 Hours, after you make a payment
and say, that interkassa is the reason Cheesy oh man ...

This anti-fraud.
