Try to also access the chart after logging out of your account. If it looks fine, this could be an account only problem.
It's possible something wrong with your browser,
1. Have you tried different browser? Some website these days only bother support Google Chrome and all-browser based on Chromium (such as Brave, Ungoogled Chromium and Vivaldi).
2. Have you tried updating your browser?
3. Have you tried opening the website after disabling all extension/add-ons?
Mine is okay, I can see all the way back to 2016

I have a really nice chart, but it's missing half the candles lol.
What do you mean by missing 1/2 of the candles?A screenshot would do better to illustrate what kind of problem you are faced with.

Not that buggy to me and the date that it shows is the actual date right now which is May 13, 2021. Look at those buttons below that indicates how long would you like to see on the chart. If it's 1 day, 1 year or all.
