Though there has strong proof that Bytecoin is a scam but your point is right too that a scam coin can't survive these long time! I feel people should remove the red tag from your account. As Bytecoin still alive and enter the top 50 in CMC, and volume is pretty high so I can't say this is a scam! Though the dev behavior is like a scam or dead which we can see in many projects like PPT, VERI and so on.

Look, another thread about hitbtc (i know its not bytecoin but same people operate both)

warning be aware from Hitbtc exchange

Quote
hitbtc exchange didn't allow users to transfer or withdrwal #ICX icon for me about 4 months and for some other users more than a year.
and they even didn't announce about that to warn the users not to transfer between trading wallet and main wallet, they just keep it that way for years to get more users into these troubles

There are hundreds of like this all around this forum and reddit. Stay away from bytecoin.
This one should be posted in Hitbtc ann thread or any scam accusation against hitbtc.

There is no permanent in this world, there is always change. Yes, Bytecoin was alive since then but many people are hating it. If a coin is red flag to many traders, therefore it might lose volume and turn to shutdown.
If it dies after this issue, I could say that bytecoin is a scam. Don't worry, it is too normal in crypto space. Shitcoins are everywhere.
There are given only negative trust if its proven as a scam or make a scam before not becuase they dont want the coins . Even it is a shitcoins or scam coin if this one is not proven there is no way they  will give you negative feedback , every thing needs a reason for this.

Is Bytecoin BCN really scam? People keep talking about Bytecoin scam since 2014-15, but Bytecoin still alive and getting listed on more good exchanges, partnered with BCNEX exchange, listed on Coinbase!

But some people gave me red trust ling ago because of promoting the Bytecoin, I still trying to reach them to remove the red tag, but they are not responding! What should I do at this stage! Many people think a red tag means he is a very bad guy, scammer! Which is hurt for a normal guy. After these years, two guys said I am scammer, which hurt me a lot! So, I am making this thread to you, is Bytecoin really scam??

It’s hard to say whether this coin is 100 percent scam or not because everyone has their own scam criteria. Scam can be called any altcoin but it will depend on your vision

I also suspect Bytecoin is a fraudulent business. it has a large market capitalization but nobody really wants to buy or sell it, all transactions are made by the Bot and it has absolutely no one who wants to buy. People actually realized Bytecoin was a scam when it caught way too many FUDs in November 2018 about the entire system shutdown. Their team is even very weak as they blame too many transactions in the blockchain system and can't handle it in time, but I've never seen a business with this problem. Because of this, many people no longer trust Bytecoin and just treat it as garbage.

If I were you, I would stop promoting a scam indicated project, you have been warned that bytecoin is a scam project, but you still promote it. In accordance with the yellow trush that you get. Even though Bytecoin has listed several exchanges, it is possible that the project will remain a scam. The mistake is in you who do not want to learn the project bytecoin after people warn you if it is a s

I do not know what bcnex and coinbase want to do, but the mistake is done here once.
we can't decide too quickly whether bytecoin is a scam or not,
because a few months ago I was still developing the Bytecoin and tried to contact email support on the official website,
but indeed until now I have not received a response from the email I sent,
it's just that the proof of the email no response can not be used as evidence.
even if it's just an assumption, it's still not enough to prove it.
I suggest you look at the feedback above. The scam does not necessarily mean stealing anybody's money, but the wrong steps or decisions made by developers can affect its vision. Anyway, once you make a mistake, it means the loss of so many people who will believe you in the future.

I know this coin and I think you are right that this was popular during 214-2015, and actually I have no idea what's happening with this coin but looking at its trading volume now, I think people already lose interest investing on this even if you convince yourself that its not scam.

I think i saw a thread that Bytecoin was already dead and community take over the control of this coin and its still circulating on market and i wonder hoe thry manage to do that even thou the developer left the project.

And maybe that's the reason they are telling that this is a scam.
This is only means that the feedback they give to the Op is different from who are developing it now and who is developer before.
The feed back is the result of what he is doing before not for what happen right now .

And BTW the persons who give you feedback is inactive for 20 days so no one knows if they read your message but you can continue doing it and  ask to remove it if you think your point is valid.

It explains pretty well why it is a scam and you should stay away from it. Also keep in mind these guys also operate the scam/insolvent  exchange hitbtc. There are hundreds of complaints about this exchange as well.

Any currency can be listed on transactions as long as those coins cover the transaction costs. Therefore, the fact that Bytecoin is listed on many transactions does not mean that Bytecoin is a reputable and worthwhile investment. Bytecoin has a rather shady mining history, which has lost everyone's faith in the Bytecoin project.

You seem to have deleted the post that got your red trust. I believe you were doing more than saying good about bytecoin when you got that trust rating.
If you feel your act was not a big issue, try and write it to fluffypony or mail him to get some attention. I hope he would respond your concern.

It depends on each person perspective. Some considered the project was a scammed one and the others didn't give a damn about such thing as long they could get profit from a certain coin, so it's all good to them. The price even reached quite high back then, but now it's amazing how it managed to survive. And you know, some exchanges even offer a paid listing, as long as one project pays them to be listed it will be listed. I'm sorry to hear about your problem, all you can do is make the people that misjuged you believe that you're not a scammer or anything.

Everyone has their own views, so there are always pros and cons. In my opinion, being registered on many exchanges doesn't mean that juka is a good coin. Because in fact the exchange can be paid instead of making a strict selection. But to be honest, if as long as they are actively exchanged, I don't think it's right to say BCN is a scam. Because in my opinion the scam is that the developer is no longer active and the price is exchanged to 0 volume.

Yes it is a scam. If you are looking for the reasons and this article was explaining complete reasons why bytecoin is a scam coin
https://coinsutra.com/bytecoin-scam/

one of the reason was more than 80% pre-mined coin. That's more than what already minted by the most centralized crypto like ripple.  Roll Eyes
Well that’s unfortunate since the coin is in circulation since 2012 and already gain popularity, however many investors are not aware of its tokenomics. I think for this coin to have good reputation they should neutralise or reduce the supply but everything relies on their present actions.

It has a shady premine and the coin was nearly dead and all of sudden came to attention and got listed in some popular exchanges, most probably a paid listing and now is back among the top 100 coins by marketcap. Monero is the people's favorite among crypto night

This thread neatly defines why bytecoin is a scam

by reading the feedback left on you by Fluffy, it seems the problem people had was the massive premining of it b4 release?
There was a time when large premine projects got super shit on, hell they STILL should be, but people are so busy wanting to get rich they let them slide nowadays : /
BCN is listed and keeps that way as exchanges like $$$, that is all.  they dont care if a coin is a scam, or in this case massively premined, they make money on fees, so they list it
you were registered in 2014, you should know all this....
all you can do is ask those people to remove it as you have, but gl on that happening lol
