I've used Changelly in the past and the rates were decent but it was for altcoin to altcoin transactions.

Changelly is the worse. Prices are sky high because they take credit cards.  Roll Eyes

I agree with you. One quarter of my money was eaten up in fees. Not cool.

Two exchanges I stay away from are Changelly and Cex.io. They're both a rip off and only noobs buy from them. You're better off buying through the marketplace here.

Of course exchanges like this are only after their profits and they give no consideration to the customers feelings so it's better to try better options out there rather than complain. I know some exchanges try these kind of games but the difference with this one is quite huge and unacceptable.

the card thing and they're also the only card option for many alts. if people are too dumb to buy some bitcoin to obtain an alt somewhere else then let them pay it.

Yeah, I know, I used Changer.com to exchange Perfect Money to BTC, just a small fee that has to be paid.

Just avoid Changely and Minergate in general. They don't have a very good reputation for reasons like this..... there are much safer options out there for exchanging crypto (or mining it).

yeah they are either praying off of people who dont know any better or because of the cards they accept, the risk they have is very high.

I checked the other coins as well, and you're at a loss no matter which coin you buy.
