Ive been using coinbase a liitle bit longer now the same with blockchain and i dont experiece any problem on using coinbase wallet as long you dont violate their Terms then you would be fine and those people who have problems on blocked accounts then probably they used on gambling purposes.

It's reliable, but it's a pain in the ass to get your account verified and get your limits increased. For casual use its fine but if you plan to buy and sell large amounts I'd go elsewhere.

Have you used Coinbase.com and how reliable has it been?

I am using coinbase now for my daily transaction, I think it is one of the reliable wallet in bitcoin world because it is known by many people, and many people using it. One of their reason when you are sending bitcoin there's no fees they collecting so many people like me that earning small amount of bitcoin want it.

Coinbase pays the transactions fees for you up to 25 per day afaik
So having a small account there shouldn't be a problem unless you plan to put a lot of money
For the exchanges service i didn't use it but I read before that few people have experienced some troubles

Poor customer service, many strict regulation, no anonymity, bad exchange rate and ask many personal info for some of their services. So, i'm sure Coinbase.com isn't reliable.
Maybe it's good for people who don't care much about privacy, don't do any suspicious activity and patient with poor customer services.

The juicy detail is about "bad exchange rate" since there goes the money. All the other complaints are just like additionals. One would assume customer closeup inspections are implemented for your security.
Seemingly not, more for subduing you into accepting bad rates either.

They're reliable for what they do but not necessarily good.  I quite like Blockchain, and there are also cold wallets like Armory which are more secure for your specific accounts.  They are also, as other people said, pretty restrictive. If you open a wallet with them it won't be the end of the world but I would suggest looking around more to find what the best wallet is for your needs rather than going for a particularly popular one.

I use Coinbase frequently to exchange fiat to bitcoin.  I've personally never had a problem with them and am currently quite happy with their service.  Now, this being said, I generally do not store many bitcoins with them; the majority of my transactions are promptly sent to my personal wallet.  I just don't trust storing a large amount of coins with ANY online wallet, so it's nothing specific against Coinbase by any means.

Yeah, they seem to be fairly restrictive and have been known to freeze accounts before. They are definitely anti-gambling so you don't want to send to any gambling websites from their wallet.

If you follow their rules, I suppose you will be fine though.

I stopped using Bitcoin with Coinbase because of that fact. I mean the customer service is good, they also have alright fees with the direct deposits and withdrawals. All that means nothing if the Company shuts down/freezes the clients' accounts for no legit reason.

Also Coinbase is already talking to the IRS and the IRS already knows that Coinbase has clients that use Bitcoin. It's only a matter of time till the Company reports ALL their earnings within the IRS bureau.

i know coinbase, i have my account in that site, but i am not using coinbase. i don't know why but my feeling says i don't have to use coinbase since there is many other of good sites and if i can choose, i am prefer to stay with blockchain itself although their new dashboard is not good for me.

reliable for what?
for trusting them with your personal information and bank account that you link and buying bitcoin and be sure they don't rob you? yes
for trusting them not to report your activity to the IRS or any other 3 letter agency!? no
for trusting them to keep your coins there as your bitcoin wallet? absolutely not

So far it has been highly reliable for me, But like others said, they are known to freeze accounts for no reason and you are likely going to also have your btc confiscated. I believe they are also against gambling sites, so any transfers going from your coinbase account to a gambling site can get your account triggered and blocked.

They like to shut down accounts for no reason, and the fees are very high.  Use Gemini.com instead.  Extremely reliable and FDIC insured deposits.  Very low fees also.

I will recommend to use official wallet of bitcoin . Because I myself tried it to make profit from transaction charge but actually with the transactions charge thier is some problems of transactions , like if you made many numbers of transfer from one wallet to other then your account may be banned ( one of my friends who like sports direct betting gambler go the notifications like this one ) .
So here it is better that we should use bitcoin with transactions ad without worrying anything about your bitcoin that you have in your wallet.
Another thing is tat if you have account in btc jam , and if your account of btcjam got hacked then thier may be some chances of steal bitcoin with the same email I'd ( you can read some articles at the google ) .
Allover 90% I found this wallet is good to use .

I used coinbase once recently. I was supposed to get a $10 bonus because I was referred. I didn't receive it, I was blamed by customer service and I deleted my account there. Luckily they just had a credit card and none of my I.D. they have very poor business practises which I let them know of course. I wouldn't recommend them if you have any alternative.

I have been using coinbase for the past 2 years and all I can say is that it is the best wallet ever. Making transactions is easier and quicker and no fees are charged when sending bitcoin to other wallets.

I used it and still I have an account there. But is empty.
I sent bitcoins from my coinbase wallet to another wallet and I lost almost everything.
Luckily it's a small amount.
Google search shows lot of people complaining.

Yes, have used it and didn't like it. There's mix feelings towards their services since some had good experience, others (including me) had bad experience for using it. If you search the topics created about complaints, you'll get a better picture of the issues (blocking someones account, freezing funds and similar things). In short I wouldn't recommend it.

For what you're intending to use it for?
