Hey mattcwu, Pretty sure they ran away with the money (exit scammed),
I sadly do not think they are coming back, many users lost a lot of money,

hopefully we can all use this as a lesson "Not your Keys, Not your Coins",
only keep coins on an Exchange that you are willing to lose, you never know when an Exchange will disappear or get hacked

I hope more people start building, supporting and using decentralized exchanges

If they start working again, it will be like a miracle, but I do not think that this will happen, because they have already lost confidence, people will start withdrawing all their coins and they understand this perfectly. My opinion is a scam.
Coinsmarket had problems with their domain and server. Nothing else. Read their updates to know what actually happened. Besides, they are back.

Thank god! I have a bunch of LTC and BTC on there, how to login though?

Ive had a fraction of a Bitcoin stuck in CoinsMarkets for many months,
They've slowly been re-enabling some coins but they have all been very low volume coins.

News: https://coinsmarkets.com/news.php

We shall see what happens, I hope it works out

I am not sure about it. the last information that I get, the website is undermaintained. it could be that the server is a problem. just wait for a while. then try to log in again.

this is the first time I hear about this exchange. But please everyone be really careful with new and nontransparent exchanges as it's much easier for them just to operate for few months and disappear than running long term business. It's often a business model...

Well I can open but I have never joined it, the site is not good in a random appearance and less interesting to be very vigilant when joined into it, sorry but I suggest that you must be careful too many scams in this internet world of crypto.

Hello friends.
Today I want to try to withdraw funds from Coinsmarkets.com, because a few days ago could not login.
After I tried to link it turned out to be a link error, I finally tried a search on www.google.com, but I did not find the site Coinsmarkets, just some reviews from twitter and from other sites.

Is Coinsmarkets.com gone?
it must be checked again concretely. until now there has been no official information about it. there may be something wrong with the search, or perhaps an improvement on the site that serves the crypto.

It's perfectly working right now Smiley
I don't see other complaining on their site (or i'm just out of the loop since i don't use that exchange that much anymore  Cheesy ). If something happen like that in the future just be calm, look for some news from the team maybe it's just a system failure on their side or try to check your internet connection.

we don't know yet for sure. the last thing dev has posted that they're currently having technical issues with the domain and the server. whether they will move to another server or domain is remain unknown. it's also still possible that they will leave the exchange abandoned. well, nothing is impossible at the moment. myself have never leave any balance on such market exchange, just to stay safe. hope that they will be back soon though.

Maybe that time you open the coin market.com,they have under going maintenance on there site's that why you conclude that coinmarket.com is diminished, but the ttruth they are already there as a part of statistic data chart in the cryptocurrency and a reference of marketing  price value in the block chain, for the purpose  that we have an information of all altcoin and bitcoin, either the price value will pump or dump in the market.

I made a very nice telegram group for real-time updates and discussion regarding the status of coinsmarkets exchange.

If there's a better place than this group to get info on CM, I don't know about it: https://t.me/cmupdates.

I haven't used this site for once, but it is not having a good recommendation from anyone which I have ever come across, and currently it is written that the website is for sale.
That's why it's never advisable to leave your money on exchange sites when you are not fully into trading. Put yourself together and forget about them including your coin(s), and start up somewhere else.

That is why it is always advisable to keep your cryptos to yourself rather than letting them dry on an exchange. Exchanges are not reliable and the people running them are anonymous and can easily run away.
Now forget your coins and expect that they'd have been already sold by now.

imo, bitcoin is the only coin that is slow to transact and used to take more fee (that has also come down to a few cents recently). All other cryptos are enough fast and get mined soon enough that you get confirmations easily and there is not much fee involved in other cryptos. So its a better idea to keep your coins in a wallet and in a wallet that gives you the private key to your address.

Else there are cases like cryptsy that can resurface anyway and everyday.  We have seen websites running away with people's money on a regular basis so its better to keep the coins with you rather than in exchanges.

It may be hard to phantom bt I have reasons to believe coinsmarkets is gone.
Its almost a month since the website has been down and unlike some days back when u still get a message saying they will be back soon..
Now there is no message no website. Just nothing.
This is actually bad & I'm not happy about it.
I have ECA coins I am yet to withdraw. Sad

I'm not trusting exchanges like this. We are working so much to earn some coins or money.
Then i'm keeping my all coins or money on safe sites or accounts. My btc is on ledger nano s. I feel safe.
But i think they're not gone. Wait patiently.
