I have used crew3, however I only complete easy quests, like check in. For project, It helps with engagement, for community members they probably do tasks for sake of xp rather than having any genuine inclination, imho.
Zealy was just useless for me to be honest. This platform was forcing user to get their twitter acccount got banned. So many people wasted their time for nothing other than got useless roles. I wanna laugh for people who wanna spend all of their time to keep retweeting or even doing various task in zealy related to the arbitrum in thepast but the only main net user got airdrop. it's not even worthy.
Perhaps you must have done something against the rules of the platform to get yourself banned, I have been using crew3 now zealy for quite some time and so far the experience has been great.
I don't think you are dip into testnet activities otherwise you won't consider zealy to be useless because most.... and i mean top blockchains have quest on crew3 now zealy which is part of the task all testers need to participate if you want to accumulate enough xp to gain WL or OG Role.
Zealy plays an important role in helping projects to gain community engagement and awareness. You may disagree with this because you had a bad experience but the platform is very relevant to most new projects.
I must admit this platform really good way to grow your community if you're ever starting a new project but massive waste of time for many of its participants, too much requirements just to claim an airdrop and even then sometime or most of the time you didn't even get the airdrop you deserve.

Crew3 is not like a forum where we can share opinions and discuss topics as we do now but a simple platform for promoting projects through completing tasks and quests. We have not started to use this tool immensely but it seems useful for new users to complete tasks to get rewards and become active community members and thus contributors. Recently i noticed that a lot of crypto projects are now using the crew3 platform to do their giveaways and other stuff and not gleam anymore. So far i only took part in one of those campaigns but everything worked as it should i guess. Also i just found out, that crew3 changed their name to Zealy like two days. Not really sure why this happened but well. I think so far the platform is mostly just used to do airdrops and other stuff so most of it's users are just airdrop hunters that don't really care about how the site looks and so on.
From a company point of view crew3 could be better than gleam because of available statistics and so on.

Personally idk what crew3 is, but from what I've seen about it's features it looks pretty good in terms of actively building up community engagement.

But the problem is that a lot of cheaters come to these services with a bunch of different accounts to get a role and have a chance for a future airdrop. I do not need this service to study the project.
I think a platform like Crew3 is completely useless for participating in a bounty, there are a lot of shortcomings, as for me, and other people can confirm this, it’s pointless to waste time on it because there will be no sense in it, except perhaps a blocked twitter account or some other social network , personally, I don’t waste time on such platforms in vain and I don’t advise others considering how many participants in a crew3 usually are, I guess it add quites the contribution to the marketing of a project but honestly, it's useless for many airdrop hunters.

I have seen some negative comments and not surprisingly, there are still many shortcomings about Crew3 or any similar platforms. I am thinking about a bigger picture and every project owner should know what they really want before choosing any promotion tool. The common problem with all platforms is that how many users can actually be turned into active community member. We have tried many ways and are still looking for better ways to do the job. Joining Crew3 is easy, but some of the projects I've participated in haven't gotten results, whether they pay or not later, right now I'm only taking part in a few projects that have potential, like Sui, the rest don't, I'm afraid to just waste time working without results, because I see some who have restrictions on getting rewards from the program and I realize I'm not part of the large following crowd

Fraudsters are everywhere, I don't think it's just the crew in this forum, we meet a lot, using several accounts to make bounties, fraud is commonplace
here the role of the organizing committee must be firm against violations committed by the community if proven so that fraud is not too partial to the master fraudster

While SUI appears to have big investors based on the number of projects that is already deployed on the platform but there are other projects on Crew3, now called Zealy, that has big investors but small community.Zealy got paid for listing projects on their platform, it is now left for the project to introduce tasks and reward that will attract participants. Why SuiSwap for instance have a very large community is because of the promise to airdrop Sui to all the participants based on their XP points that will eventually be converted to Sui points. Other projects can decide to reward only the top 20, top 50, top 100, or top 1000. I won't want to join such campaign if I have no chance of getting a reward.
I was using CREW before then I discovered that not everyone that participated in their campaigns got rewarded and since people farm referer and participation I stop using it, The problem with platforms like CREW is that it will bring users and attention but most of the time will not retain them and this is what you need, the number of users that come back to use your protocol or platform, those you are able to retain, these are your real community, not just people that show up because of incentives. Just weigh your options and decide if it is good for you

I don't know exactly what crew3's criteria are for deploying their quests on their site, but they often publish all sorts of large and well-known projects, such as for example SUI. New platforms that support community building are appearing more and more in the crypto space, I see Crew3 as a good support platform and there are already many quality projects there. But I also observed it also creates a spam environment, although not using it I think they also need to look into providing more efficient tasks. We've seen how bounty programs generate social campaigns and how much participants spam them.
Crew3 recently changed their name to zealy and have also updated their website. What I like most about it is that it is still free. Community engagement and increasing the community base can be done in just a few steps. All you need to do is to decide how to start and the rest is taken care by them. It is a good tool and if you are planning to use it then you can go ahead and give it a try.

It seems the era of having bitcointalk social bounty is surpass by this kind by easily participating on the platform.
