I think the differences are notable, first the volume of currency trading is consolidated, while the volume of BTC is not, currency trading does not have as much volatility as that of BTC, if we take into account that BTC trading is much faster Regarding its market stages, such as Accumulation, trends, Distribution is widely fast in movements, because the accumulation stage in BTC lasts around 3-4 years, while in other markets the accumulation stage and important movements tend to occur after 8-10 years, the movement is quite long, so when we make those comparisons there are clearly noticeable differences.

Yes it is very different as compared to the crypto trading, as in crypto trading there are much easy ways of trading and entering into that zone of trading in which you want to get profit. but as i say that forex trading has some different type of way to introduce and his own trading ways for the traders which is different from the crypto.

Both are risky in my opinion. I am a long-time crypto trader and I do have not enough idea about forex trading. But forex trading is one kind of size system which will automatically be traded according to your size. Here, the more the size the higher the risk. In crypto trading, bear market can come anytime, and then you can hold your assets which you invested. So, both are risky to me and obviously different from each other.
I do have friends who prefers forex trading than crypto. They might be more interested in forex than in crypto since they only study a certain currencies depending on that countries economy and they really said to have profit so didn’t mind entering in crypto to focus on it. Ti guess we can try both what suit with us in terms of our trading capabilities nd see what we can enjoy most and where we can get profit most by trying them both at first.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
The technical analysis are just the same, however, the volatility is not. Trading in cryptocurrency has more risk than trading in forex (depends on how much risk you put in forex though). For me, it's more fun trading in cryptocurrency and easier to familiarize than in the real currency we have in the whole globe. Profits is better also in cryptocurrency, trading platforms in cryptocurrency is much better as well compare to forex.
Also you can avoid lot of hidden fees while trading cryptos but with forex you need to spend a lot for the fee and tax, but when the crypto trading is legal you have to pay more taxes which is almost equivalent to corporate taxes in some countries. But I can agree with the fun part, trading crypto is easier and once we get to know and familiarize with it then it will be more easier than other kind of tradings.

Crypto and Forex are supposed to be two of the least secure yet beneficial business sectors for brokers But on account of the enormous benefit the two business sectors stand out enough to be noticed contrasted with different business sectors
So how about we simply feel free to investigate what these two business sectors bring to the table for us and how they are unique in relation to one another
One of the significant contrasts between the crypto and forex markets is the quantity of accessible instruments The forex dealers typically exchange cash sets

yes big difference between crypto trading and forex trading in forex trading there are lots of risk involved in in trading. in forex trading if you have no idea about and no knowledge about then you lost your all assets like in gaming. and in crypto trading risk involved too but not like a forex trading if you follow some proper signals and make some positive trading then you will make good profits.
Don't say that crypto trading is easy peasy, it looks like easier but not really though. You can't keep making profits in cryptocurrency trading consistently and the risk is too huge when you are day trading with it. Any trader who doesn't have proper knowledge about what they're trading will end up in a loss either its cryptocurrency or forex.

Yes, these two types of trading are different. Forex trading, if you misanalyze you will lose everything. Crypto trading if you misanalyze you won't lose everything, you can still wait until the market recovers. Furthermore, with that $85 capital I think you can continue trading, you can learn on youtube and other articles on how to trade in crypto.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
The difference is quite simple.

Forex trading = Fiat, few currency pairs
Crypto trading = BTC, ETH, ADA, etc., thousands of currency pairs

But when it comes to trading terms like consolidation, parabolic, death cross, divergence and other technical stuff, they’re the same.
That is the main difference between crypto trading and forex trading. Maybe forex trading seems more complicated than crypto trading because the analysis can be more difficult to learn than crypto trading.

The benefits in crypto trading are that when you buy bitcoin and suddenly, the price is down a lot, you will have a chance to see your investment increase someday. But I do not know about forex trading because I am not using forex trading to trade.
That is why I like cryptocurrencies trading. If you loss money and wait for some time your money may comeback.

Trading bitcoin and crypto is way different that trading forex, and the strategies used to trade them is completely different, the forex market even though they don't seem to be fixed but they move in a specific direction and they are easily controlled and effected by news, because they are centralized, but with crypto and bitcoin where every one on his own a lot of things are happening and the free market where people are selling and buying at all time nothing is that predictable.

What happens is that the currency market is more stable, while the BTC market has a lot of market volatility, at any time anything can happen. The strategies for trading will always be the same, the only thing they have different with the BTC market is that all the highs depend on BTC, and that all movement is unpredictable. In currency trading, the trading volume is consolidated, while the BTC Volume is not consolidated. And if we take into account the volatility that BTC has with respect to the currency market, the same strategy cannot be applied to both markets although sometimes it seems that they have a certain correlation.

Another aspect to consider is that bitcoin is relatively new if we compare it to all of those markets that have existed for a long time so it is completely natural that bitcoin is way more volatile than those markets, also bitcoin is still in expansion, after all the number of people that have adopted bitcoin has grown but it is still a small number if we compare it to the number of people around the world, so because of this bitcoin will go through periods of expansion on its user base and then periods of contraction, which increase the volatility as well.

Yes, one of the differences is about volatility. Crypto is riskier because of volatility, but the volatility makes a higher chance to gain bigger profits. If someone doesn't want to have a big risk, he prefers to choose forex. But if someone wants to try to gain bigger profits, then it is better to choose crypto trading. Basically, we can deal with the volatility by having sufficient knowledge about crypto, so we know how to manage our coins well. Volatility can be an advantage if we know how to deal with it.

I don't think all the things you said is verifiable about the reason crypto is riskier is because of the volatility but I think it is because it not having a body regulating for it, there are no identifiable news agency for bitcoin. On the last sentence you made, we can't fully know how to deal with cryptocurrency.

hello everyone.
i sign up in this website to study how to trade crypto. i have traded little in forex but i do not understand major part of it. is crypto trading the same with forex trading? i want to learn how to trade from this website. i have account with binance and i have 85 usdt i dont know if it is too small for trading but that is what i can afford. anyone can help me with the link of how to learn from beginning and what type of thing to learn.

The purpose is just the same, buy low and sell high but on how to execute those is a bit different as even they are both volatile, their market behaviour is different. If you are not trading for long on Forex, you can't picture out the difference here in crypto. Since you have at least a little trading experience, I think you already know the basics and the goal. Try to familiarize first the interface on Binance for easy navigating. The trading part is on the upper tab. If you are on the app, just go to Trades.

Your $85 USDT is a good start. You can choose some coins there but that's another topic to discuss as we have different factors in what coins to choose.
Correct, while the objective is the same the strategies are different, for example in the forex market we see that the trends that you can see there are very slow and are nothing like what we see in this market, this means that a ranging strategy will have way more success in the forex market, however in this market in which trends can be so strong it is better to have a strategy that takes advantage of this as even if the trends are not that common you can more than make up for it when you are on the right side of the trend.

I have no experience as well but base on what i saw around the internet when i was new and seeking for specific info about trading, when it comes forex it seems almost the same with crypto, specially how to use the tools and making strategies, and of course how to make TA on it. Wherein the difference only is the assets. because crypto is more on volatility that's why alot of traders sees that crypto trading is more profitable than forex, . There's no big differential actually in my personal opinion..infact they're both risky as well.
Both are risky, but the risk posed by forex is higher in my opinion. Although the techniques and indicators used are the same, in the trading period the initial determination is the final result. This means that we cannot change the trade for the long term if the market does not match our analysis.

Here main point is trading which works for many fields specially its in forex and crypto may be same for few but still many things are different because forex is just going through few currency pairs but in crypto now we have nearly 3000+ coins and from these we have nearly 90% are dumb scam or cheats because many devs just doing this all for cheap money so its need more work and knowledge because if you are not using your own knowledge and mind than surely you are going to lose this all very quickly.

In crypto, you can go very quickly in rich list even more quickly you can go into bank corrupt because it's very unpredictable market, so it's need some more intention and work from you for safety of your funds and better profit for future.
That unpredictable thing is because people are trading in an unpredictable method and not because crypto itself would make you bankrupt. Normally if you buy bitcoin and hold it, would that make you bankrupt? Why would it make you bankrupt, it will not be zero, at worst you would be down in your investment for a while until it goes back to green. However, if you do 10x leverage on tron in an hourly then you could end up with zero and that is how people end up losing so much money.

I never tried leverage trading with my own money, I always did demos because bitmex had demo account stuff as well and it always turned to zero in the end. I do not like to see zero in a return when I invest, it should be either a profit or at the very worst case I should be down a little, or even down a lot but not to zero. This is why people get bankrupt, they do not know the risks when trading in risky methods.

To start with, both are businesses for trading instruments speculatively. Traders project where price moves to and then the market forces of demand and supply come into play to decide whether price actually goes there or not. The forex industry is already a more regulated, established and stabilized one when compared to cryptocurrencies which is still finding its footing. For me, crypto trading is riskier than forex trading because of the volatility and lack of regulation in the crypto industry. In comparison with their market capitalization, forex also has an upper hand with over six trillion in dollar in volume of trades while crypto is still struggling with two trillion. If you've already succeeded in Forex Trading, then you're surely going to succeed with crypto trading as both make use of similar platform  and indicators. The only advice I can give you as a beginner in the crypto space is to trade only Bitcoin and be mindful of leveraging, giving that your capital is meagre.

For example Forex trading is more risky than Crypto trading. Forex trading looks like gambling if you don't have any idea about the indicators you may lose all of your money on it. On the other hand Crypto trading also risky but not like the Forex.
Oh yeah. You think so? You see why they say that one man's meat is another's poison?

Both are just like trading but in forex there are limited pairs to trade but in crypto thousands of crypto already in market and more coming on daily basis so it can be tough ask to choose right crypto for trading. It up to traders that in which categories they understand better. For me both are good and similar. Forex needs good capital for not to liquidate on other hand in crypto you can put any capital as you want. Crypto is not under regulations but forex is under regulations.
Although looking similar, there's a big difference and for me, it's easier to be on the spot trading cryptocurrencies. You have a point of learning forex too so you have to learn both of them for you to adapt to both markets. But to say this,

Learning forex trading will be better for future if crypto goes through any critical condition in future.
It is far from happening but I understand the point of being cautious because crypto is speculative and risky but as a believer of it, it's far going to that situation.

With your knowledge of forex trading I believe you are good to go with crypto currency trading, since there is no much different as all the format of candle stick analysis remain same and once you can interpret the candle in forex then you will even do better with crypto currency. Don't select too many coins since your capital is not much but try and pick one or two coins that has trading volume then you are good to go.

There are similarities so also are some differences. The best way to learn crypto trading is to first read crypto trading textbooks. This will give you an in-depth understanding of some basic cryptocurrency terms, tools and other important things you will meet when you open a crypto trading account. You can check some of the threads I created on crypto ebooks. Once you know the basics, then you need to start by using a demo accounts. There are many platforms that offer a free demo account.
I do not really see the need to read books specialized in trading cryptocurrencies, trading is trading and the same concepts apply to all the markets, as an example while the volatility in this market is extreme any trading system should have taken this into account from the very beginning and if this was not the case then the trading system that such trader was using was incomplete, and they would have failed in any market anyway as eventually they would have made a trade which exposed themselves to too much risk.
Basically, forex and cryptocurrencies have the same technical analysis, but both have different sides to fluctuations. Crypto has high fluctuations, so it will be easier to make a profit and similarly to swallow losses it will be easier too. but for investment opportunities I think crypto is more promising, because there are still few people who understand and have great opportunities in terms of technological developments
Agreed, which is why I prefer this market over any other, not only the volatility is greater which is great for those that are interested in short term trades, the long term opportunities are better as well for those that are thinking on the long term, after all even if we know that bitcoin is without a doubt the king of this market and the one leading by far the race to see which coin becomes the main form of money in the world of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin cannot do it all and as such we have many interesting projects which could become successful in this market and you can invest early on while they are still incredibly cheap.
When it comes to volatility aspect specially on lower time frames then i could really say that it is really worth the risk if you do really mind off on dealing with active trades or making out some scalping unlike when you do

trade in forex or stocks which movements arent really that high in intensity but surely it is less riskier than dealing with crypto but well we are really that risk takers for us to try out on things which do really give the

opportunity for us to earn profits on big scale if we do able to make some good trades unlike on forex but there are still some traditional traders which arent really that much ready with this kind of movement.

If I'm not experienced with forex trading because I've never invest here. I little bit learned in youtube videos Crypto trading and forex trading is very different. And Even in forex risk is high then crypto trading. 85$ Usdt is enough for first time trading as per as Newbie.
You said you are not experienced on Forex so that you it is really tough to guide anyone .However Forex and crypto trading is totally different .Crypto has lots of option to trade like Spot ,stake, farm and Leverage etc .On the other and on Forex you can trade on Leverage which is just similar with crypto .Crypto market is risky and high volatile you can earn a lot from here within short time which is not really possible on Forex .85$ is not much enough for future trading but he can do spot with it but before trading you can learn about trading on Google and youtube either you can loose your valuable fund .
Maybe we shouldn't say "totally" different, I mean yes they are different and yes there is a big difference in volatility as well. In order to see the rises and drops that bitcoin has, forex needs to leverage the hell out of it, and the bitcoin leverages? They are at levels forex can never reach. However, we should not consider it as something that would be understandable to people who are new to crypto, so we should not say "totally" different.

Think of it like a cat and a lion, they are basically the same species but they are so vastly different from each other as well. Think of it like you and me playing basketball or Lebron playing it, same sport but so different. It is kind of like that.

Reading books is just like to gain some ideas but not literally it means that this could save us from losing due to the volatility of the market and both forex and crypto trading have. Though they it look different, however, TA's and all trading strategies are quite the same.

But I could say that crypto trading is more risky, not because of its volatility as they both have but it is due to the numbers of coins available in the market and if we are too lazy to make any searches and to do chart analysis, I can imagine already what will be the result, and that certainly disappointing.

There are similarities so also are some differences. The best way to learn crypto trading is to first read crypto trading textbooks. Probably not that much, it's just what's traded that is different between the two although I wouldn't really recommend getting in crypto trading because it's not really that profitable.
It will depend on your skill, some were able to earn from both trading but we should find what suit and works best for us. I have learn to trade forex but I find investing in crypto more interesting while I have a friend who focus more on exchanging currencies. It will depend on how we will be able to manage to earn may it be on stocks, forex or crypto. We can trade them all but for sure there will be something in them that will inspires us to use more as it gives profit to us. They have different aspect and approach but same goal of getting profit in the chosen investment or currency.

When you are familiar with how crypto trading works, then you can start trading with that your money on Binance.

Forex and Crypto have similarities in techniques and indicators for trading. What distinguishes Forex in a short time is only Profit and Loss and we will not be able to switch it back in the long term, because the initial decision is the final result. Cryptocurrency for me is the safest place for investment in the long term if there is a dump in the middle of the trip, the amount of digital currency we buy will be the same but different if we nominalize it with fiat. and we can be more patient to wait for the pump to happen.
Indicators are really just the same because on what you have used on forex could also be used on crypto and its just the same.It is really just different on how the price moves.
Also crypto market isnt really that much that effective on using technical indicators which simply means that fundamentals do really play a big role when it comes to its movement.
So its better to have both ways which you do make use of fundamentals and technicals for at least to be effective on crypto market.

it's probably more profitable to do crypto trading than forex trading.
I can't tell that as it still depended on the trader, not the market itself. Granting that it has the same strategies to be applied, I'm not going to say which one is more profitable.

For you, OP, don't bother yourselves to know which one is better, just think about where you become comfortable. As I was in crypto for many years, I'm already familiar with the market which literally adds some level of confidence that I can make a trade very well. It is a need for you to decide, you can actually have them both just for the sake of you to know, coz for me, it is all just the same techniques/strategies to apply.

If you are trading about day trading then it is quite different from the long term investment and if you are trading about the trading which you want to start with only 85 Usdt, I think it is very small amount for trading. In my opinion you should start trading with a minimum amount of 500$ to 1000$. May be it is also small but would be  better for starting trade.

$85 might be too small, but since that is what you can afford for now I will advise you to just go for it. Just be very careful when you are doing your trading. Forex trading undo Bitcoin trading or crypto currency trading in general, a similar to each other. There isn’t much difference between them.

Just that cryptocurrency trading is more volatile than forex trading, and it doesn't depend much on orders technical stuff. Sometimes it is being moved by the news. So, it is something that you will understand with time, or you can decide to be interacting with other traders to learn from them. It is still not something that you will learn within a short time, it takes dedication.
Taking into account that his knowledge about the markets is almost nonexistent and that he has almost no money I think the right play here is to delay this for some months until he can improve both aspects and then once he does he can begin to trade, after all the markets are going nowhere and even if he misses the opportunity to trade the bull market that is coming that is not a big deal as there will be a new one after that one so he will just need to bid his time and wait until it comes.
Market is always there and the chances of bull run would be always there. It is just really minding off on how much you could possibly able to risk no matter what market you are tending for you to deal with.

When it comes to volatility then there is really a big difference between the two which you could really able to determine it directly once you had step your foot on it and making out some comparison.

Everything is much the same after that when it comes to sustaining yourself into the market and doing all sorts of ways on predicting on where the price could possibly go.

Trading Cryptocurrency is different from trading Forex. Although no much different but there terms and words that are used are slightly different from each other. Forex deals with currency of different countries, one country currency against another trading it in pairs. Crypto deals with coins of different types trading against ono another.

We need to know that somethings that works in Forex trading does not work with the crypto market cause they are two different market with different things that move each market. Technical analysis works more in the forex market than when compared to the crypto market which is just a new market compared to other financial markets.

Please do and don't forget to also share you experience as well. Just to add to what others have said (assuming you'll see this before your embark on your trading journey). Don't expect too much from the  market so you won't get disappointed. Don't treat the cryptocurency market like that of forex as the market dynamics are quite different although there are some similarities. Some forex traders has comes over to the space and do well for themselves while others haven't.

Also if you really want to become profitable in the long run I would advice you go into investment instead of trading. I'm not against trading as I do that in my free time although I don't take it as a professional or means of earning instead I rely on investment and you should too. Your $85 investment could be worth more in 5-10 years time.

If such investment is made in Bitcoin and over the next years you dollars cost average or constantly investing as you get more spare funds, in the next 5-10 years you could have easily 5-10x your investment. Don't think Bitcoin is done increasing, we still have room for more growth.

It has some similarities and also differences at once.
The most different is on the liquidity, Forex commonly will have higher liquidity.
The market is forex is commonly only 24/5, while crypto is 24/7.
Besides, trading forex is commonly fewer risks if compared to crypto.
Well, whatever the difference and similarities, only trade or invest in something that you really know. Learn at first them one by one so that you will know in which field you are going to trade or you more like.
However, some people are also doing both tradings in cryptocurrency and also forex in order to get more and more money. but of course, it has also risks.

More info about the similarities and differnces can be read from:

Don't understand anything about forex trading but you still try to trade. it will just waste your money.
Actually crypto and forex trading have some similarities and differences.
The striking difference is that forex trading is a 2-way trade while for crypto Spot is a 1-way trade.
Crypto Spot is safer and better for beginners because the risk level is still lower than forex.

Before making any trade, you should do some research and know the basics of each platform you want to use. Don't walk aimlessly, it will lead you astray.

Crypto is not trading differently from the foreign exchange market because although crude oil is less volatile unlike the forex market all that matters is price action both crypto forex stocks bonds it is they all follow price action the chat will always give sign before a bullish breakout that is a bullish move or embarrass move so price action is all that matters its effect all markets.

Yes, it is the same globally but crypto will be more volatile than forex trading so you will get hard to trade in crypto if you do not learn to analyze. But basically, forex and crypto trading using analysis to know when entering and leaving the market and make a profit and if you can not do that, you will not have a chance to make a profit. But in crypto trading, when you are in the losing position, you can back to make a profit in the future if you do not sell right now because the crypto market can bounce anytime. Using $85 will be okay to trade in Binance but you should know how to choose the coin because Binance has many coins.
Since the volatility is so extreme in the market of cryptocurrencies I have always thought that is a complete mistake to try to use leverage in this market, after all the market always has volatility similar to what you could see in the Forex market if you use leverage so what's the point of using leverage here under those circumstances? And despite all of this I know people which are making use of leverage and unfortunately they lose their money because they cannot control the volatility that this market has which is amplified by the leverage they use.

They are distinct from one another, mate. Because you use actual fiat cash in Forex trading and the trading period is extremely short or very limited, but cryptocurrency trading is the polar opposite of Forex. However, both sides can provide a good return based on the traders' choices as well as their trading talents.

Well, crypto trading is similar to stocks, but also to the forex market. The forex market may be a more apt comparison, since crypto startups do not treat their tokens as securities.Forex, on the other hand, is a trade between the pure perceived value of curencies.

Forex trading has been established for years but what I am about to see their was not same as what crypto trading did nowadays. They're not as popular as the asset in cryptocurrency like bitcoin and ethereum which the whole was no aware of. Only specific person knew cryptocurrency but not with forex because forex didn't have digital asset that runs in Blockchain network. It still used fiat money in purchasing forex assets, but still both forex and crypto trading principles was entirely similar when it comes to analysis.

Research and study in trading is a MUST whether it's forex or crypto trading, they are the same of how to get profit but there's one characteristic that doesn't have on the other side.  Too much fluctuation is what we most commonly encounter in crypto or a very volatile market, that's how the crypto market works.  While the stock market is more stable, well protected, and regulated by most countries.

When it comes to risk, it's definitely crypto market has a high level of risk but fortunately, it also has a high return compared to trading in forex which is commonly a stable currency.  Now, every one of us has different opinions and as you can see in the previous replies on this thread there are some of them who really contribute and share their ideas.

Technical analysis is nothing but an approach to capture traders sentiment and expectation into a scientific formula. Even traders' decisions are highly influenced by their emotions, strategies are good to help on that regarding. So, when both forx and crypto tradings are being done by similar set of people then similar technical approach will work on both of the markets.
This is why sometimes TA fails. Normally it shows us what it "should" do but it doesn't have to do what it should do, sometimes it does what it shouldn't do and that is why TA fails time to time. At the end of the day nobody has to follow TA, just because it shows that it will go down, doesn't mean that I can't buy, I am still allowed to buy, if enough people think like me then we increase the price by buying as much as we can while the TA shows it should go down, what can stop us from doing that? TA helps you see the road, but how you want to go that road depends on you.

I personally do not even use TA anymore because I just buy for long term, doesn't matter what it shows for the near future, since I won't be selling anytime soon. Obviously if you want to do day trading then you can check what it looks like it will do but that is just for day traders.

Yes, There is many difference between Crypto Trading and Forex Trading. For example Forex trading is more risky than Crypto trading. Forex trading looks like gambling if you don't have any idea about the indicators you may lose all of your money on it. On the other hand Crypto trading also risky but not like the Forex.

The risk also has means of protection which is the stoploss. I don't think the traders making profit would have done so if not for the way that they use stop loss.

I also know that the difference of the two is that you can trade crypto in spot or futures and you hodl for longer time and if it drops in value you can have your coins retaining its units but forex is not that same way, you can trade and lose everything if you don't make the good use of money management.

Crypto Trading is different from Forex Trading. Forex trading itself is trading currencies from different countries, for example at the same time you buy Euros and sell USD. While crypto is a digital currency that will be stored in a wallet. Forex trading recognizes two terms, namely long which means targeting up to get profit and short meaning targeting down to get profit, while in crypto it is known as buy which means really buying crypto and sell means really selling crypto so that profit is calculated from the selling price minus the purchase price.

fundamentals of cryptos and forex is completely different.
No one could ignore fundamentals; for example, when trading bitcoin, we must consider the consequences of halving and its limited supply; because this will definitely help a trader when to long and when to avoid shorting. Fundamentals may help a trader to understand technical of trading in more better way.

There is nothing much different since it's almost the same. The principle still applies as cryptocurrencies are still currencies like the USD or GBP or YEN. The indicators used in forex still applies you just have to forget those NFP or the news of the ECB but the fundamental news in crypto like the SEC regulations affects the prices, particularly in BTC.

85USDT will work for long-term trading like but you have to choose a cheapcoin/USDT to trade.

Trading in forex and cryptocurrency is in different aspects it depends where you learn still they are riding both in market volatility. In forex, you are focusing on the digital assets of the different currencies, in cryptocurrency we have different options like as bitcoin ,ethereum, bnb and etc. Those are both good for trading still depends on your personal preferences where to trade. As long as the trading gives you a good outcome and profit it's more ideal to go with.

is crypto trading the same with forex trading?
This question has been asked a number of times across this forum. You may get into such topics so that you may get some more interesting data and resources along with what has been discussed on this topic.

On quick search I found these:
Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading?
is bitcoin trading like stock trading, forex, someone in middle or neither?
Can i used specific forex trading indicator in crypto trading?
choose forex trading or crypto trading..?

In my opinion, all trading are similar as technical part is based on basics of mathematics but due to high volatility (which may happen because of manipulations), sometimes some of technical may vary along with situations. But, fundamentals of cryptos and forex is completely different.

Crypto and Forex trading might be similar in several ways, but still, there a very huge gap in between the two, crypto trading (depends on the type of trading) is far more less risky and also easier to understand than Forex trading, and like some one here already mentioned, forex trading is similar to gambling, ones the money is gone, it's gone and theres nothing you can do about it, but in crypto, things are a bit different most especially when you are trading in the spot market, you can only loose your money when you choose to loose, cus you only loose when you sell, if you buy a coin hoping it pumps up so you can sell and make profit, but it goes down instead, you can choose to hold it until it brings in the desired profit, but in Forex trading, its different, ones you loose, you loose, no choices.

is crypto trading the same with forex trading?
Before you asking this basic question, have you tried to google first?
There are already many sources that can describe the difference between crypto trading and forex trading once you google it. Anyway, it is actually very clear that crypto trading and forex trading are different. Simply, trading in crypto is much easier and more flexible than forex trading. You can trade every time in crypto exchange, and you don't have a hard requirement to trade in crypto.

There's a difference of course but in general, we are studying the same pattern and concept with regards to trading so if you already have knowledge and experience in trading, you can easily adopt other market, you just need to familiarize yourself with the platform and you can start trading.

Well, it looks like you are still a newbie so you must still learn how the trading works, and what are the  indicators that you can use to start trading. Better to spend time learning first because crypto market is also a risky market.

Start with babypips.com

This is the place on where i do start up and i could say that it is really that helpful when you are starting from scratch. Then trade up with small amounts and try to apply on what you had learn
and since you do already have some idea with the terms then it is really somewhat easy to understand.

but here's the hardest part is when you do make trades.Price is way too unpredictable and the difference between forex and crypto is in talks of volatility and unpredictability of the price.

You should be aware on what you are dealing with because im a previous forex trader but due to the slow pace movement of price then crypto market did really interest me.

Since you are talking about trading then I can say that trading and forex are similar in the sense that the principles necessary to trade one market or the other are the same, the indicators are the same and you could even use the same strategy in cryptocurrency markets than the one you use in forex, however there is one caveat, the markets move very differently, the volatility in this market is extreme, so extreme that in many cases it mimics what you could see in the forex market if you were using leverage, so you need to be very careful or your small capital could be depleted relatively fast.

The concept of trading is same but they are two different platforms for trading. One is for country stocks and the other is for global currency platform. Crypto currency is the global currency and anyone can use it and there are different centralized and decentralized exchanges for trading. But in forex trading, government involves. And every country has its own forex market.

Very different, the trading pairs perspective in forex is absolutely different from Cryptos and also the amount of deviation in a day is highly different too, in forex leverages of 100x are considered pretty normal and an experienced trader won't trade below 50x leverage while in Cryptos even the most experienced don't go above 25-30x leverage. The volatility is the major difference, also forex is influenced by a lot of factors and you can easily find negatively correlated trades to ensure you are adequately hedged in any position while in Cryptos if BTC falls, everything just follows it.

Trading forex and crypto are almost the same. The trading name makes it different, but you can try to use analysis from forex to crypto trading because I heard from my friend that they could get something from the forex analysis such as an indicator or else.

$85 in your Binance account is enough to start crypto trading but I suggest learning more about crypto trading. The best thing about crypto trading is when you lose in trading and still hold the coin (bitcoin), you can recover it later when the price increases higher.

While Forex price variations are smaller and clearer, dictated by politics and news about central banks, the price of crypto can change greatly in very short time for no reason (or no apparent reason).
While the charts, indicator and basics are the same, it's much harder to foresee the crypto price movements. That's also why many see crypto trading closer to gambling.

All guides trading on Binance are already on their academy subdomain you can learn a lot from their academy site about trading on their platform.
Here's the link https://academy.binance.com/en/articles?page=1&tags=trading

All posts above are the same and it doesn't provide you what actually you need. However, forex and crypto trading is the same why? because you should do the basic thing "Buy low and sell high" and they are both trading. Take note you can also trade BTC, ETH on forex and other altcoins.

If you want to learn more about trading crypto this link below is the right place to start.

If you are asking about in between Crypto and Forex, yes they are differ to one another mate. Because in Forex trading you are using the real fiat currency and the duration time of trading is very minimal or very limited unlike in cryptocurrency trading is the opposite of Forex, But both side can give a good profit depending in the choice of the traders as well through their skills of understanding in terms of trading.

Cryptocurrencies are very volatile while forex markets are more stable. ... Such moves are rare in forex markets and mostly occur in exotic pairs. In this light, it is easier to control risk on forex, but the profit potential is bigger in crypto markets.

I do not trade forex but there's a big difference from the two of it. The fluctuation that you get in forex is higher than the usual volatility of crypto.
It depends, forex are automatically traded using leverage which is called lots size, the more the size the higher the risk. Spot crypto trading is also still risky, depending on the coin you are trading, the best is to hold when the market dump. If we compare crypto future trading to forex trading, they are both risky, depending on the leverage size that is used.

But we always tell people when they're about to trade crypto, they should be aware of the risk. So I think that you're very much fond of the risk with forex too.

That's a good start for someone like you in trading crypto. If you have an idea about trading in forex, there's not that really a need for you to learn a lot aside from the fact that you get to trade with too many altcoins.

Yes, There is many difference between Crypto Trading and Forex Trading. For example Forex trading is more risky than Crypto trading. Forex trading looks like gambling if you don't have any idea about the indicators you may lose all of your money on it. On the other hand Crypto trading also risky but not like the Forex.

btw here is a link about the difference between Forex and Crypto trading. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/cryptocurrency-vs-forex-market-similarities-073453354.html?

If you’re talking about day-trading, then there are huge overlaps because chances are you’ll be using the same indicators. Because in the end, with crypto, you’re still trading assets that are moved by the same kind of market forces(supply and demand and all that).

Of course, don’t expect it to be literally 100% similar.
