I've never had an issue with Cryptsy, a little slow at time but other than that I would say Crytpsy were respectable.

Well,

In the quark hype I registered and transferred a lot of coins. And just when the prices were interesting, my funds had dissapeared and I missed the train entirely.

I've just finished reading the last support posts and find it very recognisable.

Anybody that is sending coins there is crazy imho; they first have to stabilize their system before I'll trade there again.

Is it necessary to use these exchange sites? I mean when not exchanging different currencies. Arent there not people who trade their crypto currency for cash? Is an altcoin exchange necessary under those circumstances?

I have a feeling it used to be more responsive before redesign about a month ago.

Cryptsy is the largest altcoin exchange and in my opinion the most respectable. They have experienced rapid growth outstripping their capacity at times. With continual upgrades they have been doing well to keep pace. I see a positive future providing targets are met and upgrades/innovation continues.

I have clocked 350 manual trades with only 2 notable issues.

1) Overspent BTC.

2) Extended lag of refunding canceled transaction.

Other than that, brilliant!

I look forward to future trading!

the volume rose very much and they lag all the time. and because of that you may lose money while trading...but there are not scammers

I couldn't find a fee schedule for withdrawals at Cryptsy.  That mean withdrawal is free?   Looked like BTC-e was 2% fee and Vircurex fees vary for currency, .002 for btc
It is quite bisy and thay is why sometimes it is slow

Yes, Cryptsy is good exchange for Alternative coins trade, I had some issue with disappearing coins after canceling trade, but the same day the coins showed back

Cryptsy by far has the highest volume but there's also 4 other exchanges you can trade your DOGE. See the trading markets here: http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/coins/show/doge

They are kind of laggy. They generally will work and do your trades though.

Like many here I started mining doge coins last week.  When I tried to send them to cryptsy they ended up in limbo for over 24 hours when it was trading at it's peak.  After the price fell my doge coins were finally available.  If not what is an exchange that I can to trade doge coins.

Thanks
