You can't call it reliable the owners of this exchange think it haa some sort of prestige and is one of the best but in end the it just like another small exchange about reliability it is 80% trusted and 20% negative if you search for reviews it is around 3 out 5 which is decent.
People do face issues but most them are resolved.

There has been some new coins listed but seems like transaction is not going on well.
I've heard that there were issues with logging in or hackers gaining access to cryptopia accounts. But other than that i haven't heard anything negative about them and they do have literally a crap ton of markets listed on there.
Could potentially be extremely useful, if you wanted to trade a coin that wasn't listed on other exchanges.
I wouldn't really call it reliable though. They simply have not had the sort of volume to prove that they are actually legit.

I've used them, and i like their site even though it does seem like that their design may be inadequate at times. Their volume is quite low but i like the fact that they have a community and even like a marketplace along with their exchange.
Has a lot of coins listed as well, but expect spreads to be high.
I haven't really heard any complaints, honestly. But still, use at your own risk. They're not a big exchange so there is a risk as always.

In fact, I got 1 had say the truth, I had a problem while registering but they have been very helpful to help me with my issue. Since then everything is going smooth. One of the advantages with Cryptopia is as they are not big as some others you get a better support from them, and not some copy pasted replies
This is one of the things I do like from cryptopia is there support.They are fast on responding specially when you do experience problems on the site and this is one of the things I do like when I chose up exchangers. Cryptopia is reliable and I don't experience any problems from them for many months of using their service which I do somehow recommend them without any doubts.

the transaction issues are usually from the coin itself. they either have broken blockchain, some 51% attack, sometimes their wallets are buggy and needs fixing and lots of other issues which makes the deposit/withdrawals in different exchanges long.
also make sure to check the required number of confirmation in their website for each altcoin. some of them with crappy blockchain require a huge number of confirmation which obviously takes a lot longer.

Been using the site from a few months to trade some of the lesser known altcoins and everything seems to be smooth, at least for me. But I would recommend a bigger exchange if your trade volume is on the higher side, just to be sure.
Many coins are listed and also I've seen this listed as upcoming ICO exchange pipeline.. so guess it should be reliable
